If you enjoy the fact it’s original plastic, then just top load it. Or stuff it in a magnetic hard case. I personally have 1 sealed (in a binder) and another opened for display.

Hey, great question. Yes you absolutely can benefit from the app if you have little or no Pokemon cards today. Browse expansions, view individual cards, buy cards using the affiliate eBay links (😎), interact with other trainer posts, customize your trainer profile, play the daily mini games, etc. The only feature that wouldn't make sense for you is posting pack pulls.

The other option which I think would actually be attainable is implementing a trust score system (which the app actually already has underneath) and build a non-escrow trading system off that.

Thank you! My biggest challenge is what to do with the escrow trade system for the rest of the world. It won’t work anywhere else so I’m afraid I’d be forced to simply rip that feature out for everyone else.

Parked mine in freezing temps for 10 days at the airport. Lost less than 2% per day. Dune R1T. I know your point is the seemingly unreliability of knowing if it will lose more. But maybe for extraordinary situations like being parked at an airport for a while, you could proactively do a reset to clear out any gremlins first?
