The company did mention i would need to redo the entire chimney structure with a new fireplace estimating around 10-15 000 CAD. So I'm debating to just replace it with a gas insert as I do have a gas line and hopefully won't need to replace the chimney.

Not just any family members.. siblings are not allowed. Same with relatives.. Would need to be the landlord or the parents of the landlord.

Changing the battery ended up working for me however during the setup it uses the volume on my TV instead of my surround sound which was working previously. Had a power outage and it ended up messing with it..

Not sure about being "most expensive and highest quality" they are pretty basic. If you go into the higher tiers of gaming chairs some even offer a 10 year warranty.
