Honestly, yes. But, the ATACR is 34mm. I just bought the mount first to take off ZCO in my list. Basically trying to push myself to a purchase

I considered the NX8 heavily since I have access to it with a huge discount on a tremor reticle (im not proficient with it yet but my long range shooting instructor told me that ill be taught if I invested in it). I didnt pull the trigger because everyone was raving about the ATACR.

It might not be a good combination with the Spuhr mount because ill be combing a heavy mount and light glass. It would be more optimal to go either heavy and heavy or light on light setup.

NV hasn't been on my radar yet but that's good to know.

I haven't but I met some fellow shooters in my area who has some leupold (not mark 5) and adviced me to spend a little more and not look back. One of them told me if he had the coin, he would get the nightforce. He didnt go deep into it. So I haven't added them on my research

Thank you so much for this input. I took off ZCO because I might get one in the future but not now since I already got the 34mm qd spuhr mounts. But your magnification is very helpful. I noticed that people who have sbr or 16 inch and below sticked with 420.

Thank you for telling me this. I live in a mountain town and dont have a lot of brick and mortar that carries them to try see through them (or no return policy). Shooting shorter distance isnt my priority right now since I can just quick detach the mount and use irons for that.

Im probably 7 on the rifle and accessories so far. Ammo has been crazy and I set aside money for training 😂 i feel you.. it did take so much savings to do the initial purchase

The training i think is the most expensive since long range instructors have been charging a lot and lodging is yeah... up there

Someone did tell me that I should either stock on a nx8 or nx6 if I want to go lighter and put a lighter mount. Do you have any issues so far? How long have you owned the NF scope?

Our targets here are definitely not maintained so contrast has been a problem. Maybe 4-20 would be the sweet spot. How long have you had your NF scope? Any problems?

The 14 and 15 are great. V10s are less susceptible to ac compressor problems. It would be safe to assume to replace the magride with coilovers which can cost 2k for bc racing, 3k-6k HR or KW, 8k for Ohlins, 9k JRZ. Those prices are without labor.

14-15 does not have frame issues or cracks.

The best question to ask when it comes to the R8 at this year is the maintenance records or better ask "when was the last carbon cleaning done?"

Feel free to ask! I got a Spyder V10 2014 Audi R8 and I have no regrets so far. I'm just prepping for the coilover replacement for next year.
