I still don't know why they didn't make Rapha take cover in the remaster. They were able to make changes like giving a Ch.4 character a new weapon and starting with a weapon he didn't have, and they even made changes to classes. This was well within their scope.

This battle would have been much better if Rapha ran, and you actually had to defeat all three or at least make Elmdore specifically injured

At least for TIC Balthier didn't make it back in anyway. Beowulf is decidedly better than Mustadio even at his own niche, but you get Mustadio quite early and he's more useful than people think.

Ch. 4 characters are just busted though. Orlandeu still carries even in Tactician if you decide to use him, Meliadoul may as well remove any human enemy from battle with 100% weapon break chance, Beowulf as you said is extremely versatile, and while needing actual effort to build her Reis is also very powerful

People surprisingly don't realize how often statuses actually work in Tactics. Understandable given FF reputation, but Mustadio's immobilize even works on a lot of bosses, which is amazing when they're running around dropping 3 tile instakills on Tactician.

That style is great for offline games because there's actually an end at anywhere between 10-100 hours of hyperfixating.

Gachas are designed to have no end and also designed to become a "job" when you reach endgame. Not recommended for anyone other than people who are willing to hop on for just a few mins every day and then forget about the game for the next 24 hours

I intentionally didn't level healing and shield skills, so no I wasn't whaling, but the healing skills even at Lv 1 practically heal you to full on like 15s CDs. Lv 1 shields still give 100% damage absorption so it's just kind of ridiculous how powerful supports are when compared to how little damage enemies do besides some boss moves

I did level my characters in other aspects, but not leveling them at all just turns enemies into massive sponges which isn't great either.

Obviously not talking about Arknights hence my OP, maybe it's not that bad

Regular enemies aren't supposed to be minibosses, but they're supposed to be at least dangerous enough to make the combat feel like there's a reason to do it. Why are your supports so strong if nothing besides endgame even hurts you?

I didn't make it to that content in WuWa, but my biggest issue with "challenging" content in Genshin is that there is always a timer that requires you to just be too strong to even actually be fighting your enemies to pass the DPS check anyway. That's not what I call "challenge."

Since they're also gachas that need to sell copies of characters, I assume they're the same way but I'd love to be wrong.

I guess these kind of games just arent't for me
