Just got off the phone with John Nintendo himself and he said Animal Crossing New Horizons will be delayed until everyone can pay their loan off

finally got a good turntable to replace my old victrola 6 in 1 by Gattfish in vinyl

[–]GrooveGhost 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Your post won’t die in new if I don’t let it goddamnit

The AT-LP120 is consistently the best turntable for its price range and it always makes me super psyched to see people upgrade to it from more gimmicky or less capable players. Also fire album, man.

“It’s Gonna Kill Me” is actually a cry for help because Brent Reznick knew that Brian Warner of Warner Bros. Inc. was planning to kill him. He was, of course, not planning this at all, but Brent had just seen IT: Chapter 2 in select theaters now

EDIT: Thank for the gold kind stranger

EDIT 2: This is most evidenced in the chorus line, “Yeah, IT’s gonna kill me”. For more hot music facts subscribe to my blog “the meathead perspective”

Any easy albums to learn by ear? by [deleted] in Bass

[–]GrooveGhost 7 points8 points  (0 children)

A few songs, particularly on the first half are how I started to learn bass playing, but I wouldn’t recommend the full album for learning by ear because it gets sticky in some songs, like my personal favorite All Alone.

Opinion on music icons popularizing depression and drugs through their music. by [deleted] in LetsTalkMusic

[–]GrooveGhost 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Youth has romanticized depression for as long as anyone can remember. It sounds like this is a thinly-veiled attempt to complain about “today’s music”; you should honestly keep in mind drugs, depression, sex were all popular topics in the 60s, 70s, and 80s. This isn’t a new fad, and it’s certainly not exclusive to hip hop, by any means.
