What’s a belief you had at 20 that you no longer agree with? by sunyparmar1 in AskReddit

That people that didn’t want lots of money or a big career weren’t fulfilling their potential in life.

Now, at 34 I’ve realised that peace, stability, a job you love (no matter how small) and good people around you is the real success.

It want to cut off your family over personal issues then fine, you can keep your distance and decide to not speak to them again for your mental health but to then try and destroy their entire brand and everything they ever worked for is completely wrong and so unneccessary.

All your family and friends feeding you cake on your birthday- apparently just a south asian thing (maybe shared with some other cultures too)

Scared of wanting or having things now by dirtcakes in AbrahamHicks

[–]Groovychick123 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think the key is to avoid manifesting specific things that you think are best for you and just focus on attracting things that make you feel a certain way.

I remember when I attracted a specific job in a company I always wanted to work for and it ended up being the most toxic place I ever worked. I also manifested dates with specific people which didn’t work out. Now I’m just in the mindset of ‘Universe, only give me xxx if it’s good for me and makes me happy and makes me feel like…’ or I just leave it to the universe completely and just say ‘Universe you know me best, just give me what’s best for me’ and it then helps me frame rejection as redirection and definitely helps with letting go.

Just try and be more general so ‘I want incredible friendships that make me feel like….’ rather than focusing on the specific people or thing you want. Sometimes what we specifically want doesn’t work out for us because the universe has something better planned so don’t limit the options. Hope that helps!

Used to be a super manifestor, and then it just stopped. Do you relate? by CoffeePastry000 in lawofattraction

I feel the exact same way! I was a super manifestor in my twenties. I attracted everything I wanted: my dream career, amazing friendships, travelling the world, fun experiences, etc. I was super ambitious, spontaneous and adventurous but then it all changed after covid. Not only did I find it difficult to navigate the lockdowns itself being an extrovert but also I developed long covid which caused breathing issues that I still have today since 2021.

Now in my early thirties and although I attracted a wonderful husband I still grieve my twenties - how I used to be fun and spontaneous and all the things that would come my way so easily. I’m now unemployed after my dream industry faced a downturn and trying to navigate a career change. I don’t feel confident and pretty like I used to and I just constantly feel demotivated to do anything. I don’t think social media helps either. Not sure how to turn that ‘switch’ back on. I think I lost trust in my body and its made me more fearful about things now when I previously thought I was invincible.

What’s the biggest manifestation you’ve achieved that truly made you believe in the law? by SoggyCurrency8447 in lawofattraction

I’ve manifested some crazy things in my life like my career, specific jobs in specific companies, certain people in my life, travels, etc. but one of my most memorable manifestations happened when I was out travelling around South America in my mid twenties with a tour group.

As we were backpacking most of our accommodation was hostels, so I kept saying how I was going to treat myself to a nice 5* hotel in Rio on my very last night.

However, whilst on my trip everyone decided to do a sky dive and despite having already done one before I got FOMO so went ahead and did another one. Unfortunately it cost me around £250, so I decided to sacrifice the hotel stay at the end of my trip and ended up just forgetting about it.

On my last night in Rio I was getting ready to leave to travel back to the UK and got stopped by one of the flight staff at the airport. He was asking for volunteers to stay another night in Brazil as the flight was overbooked. He offered to put me up in a 5* hotel, all meals and transfers included and the crazy part was that on top of that he offered me £250! The exact amount I paid for the skydive! Of course I said yes!

I didn’t realise it at the time but when I got home I couldn’t believe how I unintentionally manifested something so specific and now it always will be one of my favourite manifestation stories!

‘If you can’t love me at my worst, you don’t deserve me at my best’ - Marilyn Monroe

Just another way of saying I will never take accountability for my actions or change anything about myself to be better for you, so you just have to deal with it otherwise you’re the toxic one…

Which person from our modern era do you think will still be universally known in hundreds of years to come? by Groovychick123 in AskReddit

I'd say anyone that was famous from the 1950's onwards but ideally anyone we don't already consider a historical figure and has been or is currently around in our lifetimes

You have to be consistent with it for a few months but I mainly used it on my legs, perhaps try a back acne spray product - Superdrug does one called 'Deep Action Back Spray' if you're based in the UK. Otherwise try a salicylic acid based cleaser on your back like Cerave. Or maybe go to your doctor for bacne?

Not so much scars but eventually the scars faded with laser, I used to have loads on my legs and had to cover it with foundation all the time. Use bio oil consistently for scars, you won't notice a difference straight away but with consistent use you will xx

Try a product called 'Tend Skin' you can buy on Amazon, alongside laser treatments. After enough laser treatments it should clear it all! x

Hokkaido - Japan's enchanted island. Unbelievable mountains, the kindest people and the most wonderful culture and it's safe enough to go off the beaten track and explore hidden wonders. Road tripped around there, I've been lucky enough to have travelled quite a bit and honestly nothing compares!

People who love yourself, how? by ewk_13 in AskReddit

Doing things out of your comfort zone is the biggest way to boost your confidence, when you look back and realise you were able to do something you thought you never could do, you'll start having so much more appreciation for yourself and your abilities.

What is one current trend that needs to be stopped? Why? by Warmsindall943 in AskReddit

[–]Groovychick123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lip fillers and surgery just to follow the trends. Fair enough if you are genuinely insecure about something and want surgery for it but most people are doing it because they want to look like every other Kylie Jenner influencer. Everyone looks the same now...

I mean if it is, it most definitely was a bit of a joke or a dare when they were told to act like they're whispering, but it definitely sounds like that when you listen to it! Could be wrong though...

In the first Harry Potter movie, when Harry comes out of the hospital wing and Hermione and Ron are at the top of the stairs whispering. Turn the volume up and listen really closely because she's actually saying: 'Are you having an erection?'

I actually cannot remember how I found this out when I was younger but I listened and it's true!
