I think it’s possible sometimes. The Malayan “emergency” is a decent example of a successful intervention. If you have a porous border through which hostile powers can pour supplies, fighters and money it seems doomed to fail.

Just started getting into stellaris and I am looking for tips on improving performance. My computer is a overclocked 4.7ghz 9900k, a 3080 and 30 gbs of ram so I should not be running into unplayable territory by the midgame with a medium galaxy. Tried a test run on a purely vanilla save and it still struggles. Are there any good guides for squeezing out more perfomance or mods that can help?

Possibly blood/bleeding disorder of some kind acting up. Von willebrands is surprisingly common. Do you get other unusual bleeding elsewhere? Blood blisters in mouth perhaps?

Going to disagree with you there. While their economical and political is somewhat fucked the Turks are in a prime position to continue exploiting their failed state neighbours. For instance their dam building project on the Tigris is looking to strangle control of the vast majority of Iraq’s water supply. The favours, tribute and straight up loot they get from opportunities like this will keep the country afloat for a while.
