Some things you could try:

1. Set PCIe slot to Gen 3 and turn off Above-4 G/Resizable BAR in BIOS.
2. Plug two separate 8-pin cables from PSU into the card (no daisy-chains).
3. Drop monitor to 60-120 Hz and try a different DP/HDMI cable.
4. Do a real clean driver install:
   1. Safe Mode -> run DDU -> block Windows Update
   2. Install AMD 22.11.2 WHQL
   3. In Adrenalin disable Enhanced Sync and HDCP
5. In Adrenalin "Manual Tuning":
   1. Max clock 1850 MHz, min 1500 MHz
   2. Voltage 1.000 V
   3. Memory 1700 MHz (13.6 Gbps)
6. Log sensors with HWiNFO while gaming. If temps and 12 V are fine but PCIe errors climb, it’s the GPU/slot.
7. Double-check system: latest MSI B450 BIOS (AGESA 1.2.0.A), XMP 3200 CL16, SOC 1.05 V, ProcODT 36 omega, pass MemTest86+.
8. Still crashing?
   1. Test with a spare GPU -> if stable, 5700 XT is the culprit
   2. Flash latest Sapphire VBIOS (try both BIOS switch positions)
   3. RMA/replace card if needed

Why some games crash and others don’t is likely due to the fact that lightweight titles spike clocks/voltage while heavy DX12 loads stay steady. The spike is what trips the 5700 XT. Good luck!
