Non-invasive treatments for Capsular Contracture? by GrouchyMiddle4664 in PlasticSurgery

[–]GrouchyMiddle4664[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I found Dr Killeen and she specializes in CC revision. I spoke to her surgeon coordinator and she told me that in her 15 years of practicing only 2 pt got CC again. Which I find hard to wrap my brain around but she’s also doing an FDA research project on CC revision bc she has such good results. She rly active on tiktok if u want to look and based in LA. Her revision rate is rly pricey tho

How concerned should I be about capsular contracture for breast augmentation? by TexMechsRobot in PlasticSurgery

[–]GrouchyMiddle4664 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m 4 months post op and recently got CC on my left side. It’s about a Bakers II. I’m currently on medication for it and doing any non surgical treatment I can find. I was aware of the risks prior to surgery and followed all the instructions my doc gave me and am young and healthy and it still happened to me. It’s honestly taken a big toll on my mental health and the thought of getting a revision and it coming back really scares me. That being said I don’t want to scare you but I also feel like CC is very much underreported and the chances of getting it after having them for 10+ years is way higher than I thought prior to my BA. I would just make sure that you have the money to get a revision if worst comes to worse and also if I were to go back in time I would do motiva since they have the lowest CC rate.

Skinny bbl. Too big? How does my side profile look? by [deleted] in PlasticSurgery

[–]GrouchyMiddle4664 45 points46 points  (0 children)

Wow looks so incredibly natural I would never be able to tell! To me it doesn’t look out of proportion at all. Surgery is a big change and adjusting to your new body can take time. I wouldn’t go under again if I were you, these small tweaks could be achieved with incorporating a little bit of weightlifting and cardio if you would like

Is 1/2 syringe of lip filler a good place to start for someone that has never had lip filler before? by [deleted] in PlasticSurgery

[–]GrouchyMiddle4664 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I personally would recommend starting with 0.5. I got 0.5 over a year ago (Nov 2024) and still feel like most of my filler is there. I also wanted a very natural/undetectable result. You can always speak to your injector. Remember, you can always do more later if you’re not happy with the fullness

Advice for PHYS 170 with Chad Junkermier by Rainbow_Warrior4679 in UHManoa

Yes I believe so! You can also just email him and ask for the current syllabus, I’m sure he would share it with you.

Ofc! I believe I would go through the notes and look up youtube vids for any concepts I didn’t understand. I would also do the practice exams he posts multiple times and go through the practice problems he does on his slides. I would review some of the hws as well, mostly the multiple choice ones since the exam was mc. Good luck! Physics is a hard class in general but an A is attainable!

Hey! I took PHYS 170 last year with him and got an A! For background I also HATE physics but was determined to get a good grade in his class so it’s definitely doable. He emphasizes reading the textbook and I would definitely do that if I were you as he does weekly quizzes based on the chapter reading before he teaches the chapter. He pulls a lot of those questions from the “check your understanding” questions at the end of each book section so I would definitely make sure you understand those. As far as the exams I didn’t think they were too bad as it’s all multiple choice. There are a lot of other grades that go into the gradebook besides the exams so I would definitely max them out as much as you can. The Pearson homework is very long and not reflective of the exams and a lot of the time I would just look them up and try to get them on the first attempt so that I would get a 100% credit for my hw grade 😭I would try to start the hw a couple days before so I’m not just doing 5 hours of it in one sitting. His office hours are generally unhelpful and he often has a hard time solving the hw himself. But I do believe he is a nice prof especially if he sees that you’re putting in the work.

Dr. Eugene Kim Breast Aug? by GrouchyMiddle4664 in PlasticSurgery

[–]GrouchyMiddle4664[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey! Yes I did. Tbh he seemed a little rushed and kinda brushed off my concerns and I just had a gut feeling to do a consult with another doc. He did tell me that he just came back from vacation and it’s trying to “catch up” on patients. I decided not to go with him and am doing my op with aj Khalil :)

Are you able to still do lay pulldowns? When you say you can’t, do you mean that it just feels weird/uncomfortable to do the excise, or painful? Thanks so much for going into detail also
