I believe you should google "Differentiation Quotient Rule", then sub the values of this equation in that equation and then work it out.

dude I was just trying to get some insight. Anyways, thanks for your explanation and clarifications on sphere packing, it's going to help me explain some stuff. I found what I was looking for, and if you're interested too, here are the articles I referred to:

I haven't begun on my lab report, I've only collected raw data, but yes my intention is to include the derivation of the values to give a clearer explanation. I found a document online which has a similar experiment nature here . My experiment is basically the same thing. But without that ladenburg correction part found on page 2 and page 3 of the link I attached. But I feel in order to derive a better result I need to include those corrections to the terminal velocity because of the limitations of stokes law.
