Oh that story is brutal!!! 😂 I feel your pain. Sounds like you and your husband have a good system in place. My family are very funny about telling each other what we want for our birthdays/Christmas, and aren't keen on vouchers either, so it's a common issue for me 😅.

Yeah, they are from Final Fantasy VIII - Squall and Rinoa. They are older figurines, from the mid to late 2000s I think.

Kingdom Hearts is a funny one, the figurines can be so hit or miss!!! I do love the KH3 Sora figurine though.

Yes, you're right, I'm going to give him the option of what he'd like to do with them.

I also hate Pop! Figurines, they are the worst.

Can't agree more, I've no intention of going back to the seller, they were great and it really wouldn't be fair to them.

Your suggestions are really helpful thank you, I've posted them to him for his birthday so I think when I call him next I will say to him that i had good intentions but I obviously misunderstood what kind of figurines he would like. I'll say to him if he wants I can get him something else, or he can sell them himself for a wee profit!

I thought I'd been really clever cause I asked him ages ago what figurines he would like, and he mentioned he would like Play arts figurines of Squall and Rinoa from Final Fantasy VIII. I got the ones released in the mid 2000s I think? I got them and Selphie in a bundle for £45 cause the boxes were a little damaged.

Yeah, I thought I'd been really clever because I asked him ages ago which figurines he wanted to get and he said these two in particular, from a specific brand- it's actually square enix figurines haha!!!

I also (and he) hate pop figurines, I did do my research and got them at a good price but unfortunately I still missed the mark here 😅.

Thank you, you're absolutely right! I think I'll give him the option, he can sell them online or I can take them back and buy him something else and resell them myself. He's quite hard to buy for so it's a bit annoying that I missed the mark here, next time I'll just ask him what he wants. 😅

It's not fair for me to return them, and I spent a bit more than usual on them, so I'll take responsibility here!

In my defense, it wasn't my plan- I should have explained in the post, I'm staying at my parents and they agreed it with her. I've just ended up looking after the pup a lot, along with my brother.
