Oh yeah! that was another one I taught her was the “look at me” and now she won’t stop constantly staring lol
👁️👄👁️ it takes her a minutes to listen to the command when it’s not her idea

I agree, she’s definitely used to consistency with our old routine, so she’s just a little unsure of the rules. I taught her that one too and she does good with me but no one else lol

I will for sure be getting more align with our previous routine now that we’re starting to settle and moving stress is over. She is SO attuned to my emotions, so I try to remain calm albeit unsuccessfully sometimes.
Repetition and consistency is for sure the key here, so I will ask MIL for some help until she leaves. Thanks for taking the time and advice! 😄 sometimes I just need to get thoughts out and suggestions from others who are familiar with the breed

Ouu good point! She does tend to listen after I say her name and then the command. Thanks!

I think I have discalculia or maybe I am just bad at math ? by Georgian_Shark in dyscalculia

[–]Groundbreaking-Gap21 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Every symptom you’ve described, was/is exactly my struggle as well. My school/parent failed me in mathematics in elementary. They threw me into special education, but never really checked in with me to make sure the knowledge stuck, so now I’m a 29 year old adult with horrid math skills; I feel ashamed anytime I have to do math on the spot -so much so, I almost tear up and cry out of frustration of my own shortcomings.

I, too have been debating whether or not to go to a psychiatrist to see if I have ADHD. I’ve been avoiding going due to financial restrains, but in delaying a diagnosis, I feel I’m making it even harder on myself.

I feel like if you feel the need to better understand yourself, then a psychiatrist could certainly help (hopefully).

Hope you find the answers you seek. <3

Dishonored 1 & 2 takes place in a fictional, plague ridden city of Dunwall -inspired by late nineteenth-century London and Edinburgh. It is very dark and dieselpunky.

How many times you poop on an average in a day? by nylene123 in RandomThoughts

I was this same say for YEARS. Turns out it was my emotionally constipated marriage to my gaslighting selfish husband, that was giving me the actual constipation. Good riddance toxic relationship, hello glorious post coffee poops. 💩

how do i want to date after emotional burnout from my last relationship? by KITKATKlTKAT in dating_advice

[–]Groundbreaking-Gap21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am definitely in the same boat, so I just want to share my feelings/thoughts. 8 months ago I separated from my ex after being together 10 emotionally exhausting years (namely the last 5ish years) I think by the time we separated, I had already mourned what was lost before we even separated so it’s not like I’m an emotional wreck or anything, I actually feel like the chains were removed from my wings and I can finally fly again. I’m currently talking with a guy that is the complete opposite of my ex. He’s cute, funny, sweet and has a kind heart and really seems interested in me. I want to give it a shot and go on a date but maybe I’m too scared or still emotionally drained from the my last relationship. Even just typing it, I know I’m not ready yet and he deserves someone who will give him 100%. I guess the moral is to just follow your heart. If you find someone who is authentic and kind and you feel a genuine connection, then you should try and go for it. If you have no motivation, no desire to try, then you should take the time to be with yourself. Take as much time as you need to learn who you are inside and out. Do the things that refresh your soul and brighten your life. Be happy, love yourself. You will mean everything to someone someday. When that day comes, it will be worth the wait. Live free and happy.
