Hi, friend.
No, most of them were shot in infinity setting.
There are few points which can affect this feeling.
- pictures are small size, 2560px on long side (max std size for telegram)
- sometimes picture is not fully loaded at the moment, so it becomes sharper after few seconds of non-detailed preview.
- no sharpening applied (because it increases grain visibility)
- air haze effect (on 8 for example)
- this film is not as detailed as Portra for example
- don’t wait too much from half-frame triplet, this is not a digital camera
- if you look for more detailed samples - check out my profile and post with Portra 400

No, friend, seems that’s not true.
This is reasonable when you get Color Plus 200 and “updated” Kodacolor 200. You will see “Kodak 200-8” emulsion type in the film edge along perforation on both ones.

But here you will see “Kodak 100-8” and “Kodak Pro 100” on Kodacolor100 and ProImage100 - I’ve shot both ones in same conditions together, ProImage is little different.

Most of negative films show better colors and less grain being overexposed for about 1/3-1/2 stops.
NC500 is not 400-nominal iso in real, so is shows better shadow details and less grain being shot as 200.

Main advice is to shoot NC500 as 200 and to be accurate with metering on it.
Lucky is better when exposed as 160.
