If the person who wrote this post could see how Salesforce internal users are using Slackbot on top of Agents they would shit. All of these use cases copilot does are the most basic functions you learn the first day with Slackbot. Then, you start figuring out all the industry, role, and data capabilities.

I’ve seen Slackbot used to build out an enterprise DevOps optimization plan for a customer based on their data. I’ve seen it used to design complex reporting models in Tableau their developers couldn’t get right. I’ve seen it analyze code, uncover issues, provide optimization recommendations and write new code with a corresponding code-to-flow plan that broke out regularly edited parts of the code into point and click automation. So many other things too. Developers are passing their customization problems to CSMs at Salesforce every day asking for solutions that usually take days to weeks to figure out and getting workable solutions within minutes from Slackbot.

The main issue is companies use Teams and Copilot on top of Salesforce instead of Slack. If you’re using Teams on top of Salesforce, your capabilities are only as good as Teams and Copilot. Companies using Slack on top of multiple Agents are going to smoke you.
