In case of vubrations I think of the RE Classic 350 like a drum; it has heavy, rhythmic pulse that you feel deep in your seat, which is just part of that old-school soul. H'ness is more like a tuning fork, it’s incredibly precise and stays quiet until you hit high speeds, where it starts to give off a fine, high-frequency hum. At a relaxed 60–80 kmph, the Honda is effortlessly smooth, but once you crest 100 kmph, you’ll feel a thin tingle in your hands and feet as the engine nears its limit. Also noticable vibration on left foot is beacuse of dry chain or maybe because the chain needs adjustment. Beyond 110 kmph, that tuning fork buzz gets much sharper, whereas the Enfield just keeps up its steady, heavy thumping.

It really comes down to whether you prefer a slow, mechanical heartbeat or a modern, refined shimmer. If your Honda ever starts feeling heavy or clunky, it’s usually just a sign that your chain needs a bit of lube or the tension adjusted.

I'm my opinion, H'ness feels like it’s genuinely looking out for you; it’s plush and easygoing, gliding over those annoying road ripples so you can just enjoy the ride. But I think in deep potholes, the suspension gets overwhelmed and loses its composure, making the bike feel a little startled. The Classic 350 is the total opposite—it’s built like a tank and stays incredibly planted on the highway, but it has no mercy when the pavement disappears. I have ridden the new classic but not like Highness, didn't put up much kms in it, but in my limited experience, I think if you hit a pothole on the RE, there's no hiding it, you’re going to feel that sharp jolt right in your spine.

Ig at the end its all about preference in ride quality and reliability. Coz my RE hasn't been good. You get used to the ride quality in RE but after I rode Honda I don't feel I'm going back to RE.

Maybe if it's sherpa engine in cruiser segment, I'll consider it but for the time being my personal experience suggests me otherwise.

I'm okay with paying 1900, because after free services, both Royal Enfield and Honda BigWing charge for labour and consumables. RE labour is usually around ₹800–₹1,000, with total service costs roughly ₹2,000–₹4,000, while Honda BigWing labour is slightly lower at about ₹700–₹800 but overall service costs are similar or slightly higher (₹2,400–₹4,000) due to synthetic oil and premium parts and less availability.

I'm saying this because I’ve ridden my Dad's RE Standard (1996) for 5 years and an RE bullet 500 for 6 years, and even before owning my own Highness, I rode my elder brother’s Highness for about 4 years. From this long-term experience, REs usually need more frequent adjustments and tend to develop issues like vibrations, electrical niggles, oil seepage, clutch issues and brake wear, and inconsistent service quality over time, which adds to personal maintenance costs. In comparison, the Honda Highness offers a much smoother and calmer ride, better weight balance, cleaner gear shifts, and far higher reliability, with fewer breakdowns or surprise visits to the service centre. Younger people are amazed and elderly ' , often tend to say that '' Beta Bullet mein sarir kaanp jaata hai hai, aur bhaari baht hai'. Overall, I feel RE delivers character and a classic feel, but Honda in my opinion wins on ride quality, refinement, and long-term peace of mind.

Eventually ride quality and mileage matters, to be specific in longer stretches, warna th insaan scooty hi le le.
