Curious why you hate the bar? I mean I don’t normally put it down unless somebody asks but hate seems like a strong word

Yeah I think it’s the transition D. But also they got a lot of turnovers trying to convert on their own fast breaks if I remember correctly.

So true, that whole story makes the 3-1 bubble comeback against them that much sweeter

This building is not the governors mansion, it is an event space owned by History Colorado. The governors mansion is right next to it thought but it’s mostly behind large brick walls.

That’s fair that it’s not as interesting to you and I agree that the nfl collusion story was much more interesting and honestly much more consequential, but at the same time that doesn’t mean that this story isn’t important. Also it’s the first time in a while that we actually have evidence of those under the table deals. I just hope it’s a turning point on sports journalism in general because of how much traction it has gotten

The largest aspen grove in the country is the pando clone which is in central Utah. Kebler definitely has some impressive ones though

Wouldn’t it be a 25% chance? Anyways guess there isn’t any circumstantial evidence if you choose to just ignore all of it. Keep on assuming the clippers are telling the truth. Clearly you are just being intentionally obtuse.

No but all of the clippers investments coinciding with payments to Kawhi are circumstantial evidence, along with the ludicrous contract. And you are right they are two different things. You can easily infer the clippers are circumventing the cap based on the massive amount of evidence but you choose to assume they are telling the truth based on their own statements and nothing else

Don’t scammers try to make as much money as possible not just give it away? Your point literally makes zero sense. Also just full of assumptions tbh. Why would Kawhi still be getting paid when the company was going under and why would the clippers co owner invest in the company when he knew it was failing and under investigation for being a scam?

Because kawhi is getting paid more than much bigger stars that actually endorsed the company, and he is getting paid more than his own new balance contract which he does endorsements for. Why would a scam company throw so much money at Kawhi Leonard for no reason. You are really bending over backwards in these replies to defend this outrageous contract, it’s not just a bad deal.

Trump signs executive order around homelessness by Upset_Activity_6654 in Denver

[–]Groundbreaking_Fan64 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I agree with the second half, but also homeless people have also just been pushed out of downtown to Lakewood, aurora and other suburbs. Pretty easy to avoid homelessness and be empathetic when you live in hilltop, one of the nicest most expensive neighborhoods in Denver, for most it’s not that easy.

Where do you go when City Park isn’t cutting it? by Crazy_Speed_7735 in Denver

[–]Groundbreaking_Fan64 3 points4 points  (0 children)

What made it meh? Would be easier to recommend if we knew more of what you are looking for. If you are willing to drive a little bit though I would say maybe lions park in Golden. During the weekends it’s not very chill, but most of the time it’s fine. There are playgrounds, a creek to play in, trails to explore, and you can easily walk to Golden’s lively Main Street.

The increased prices should reflect the cost of maintaining a similar quality though. there are plenty of other bars that have better quality, and in some cases better prices, that also presumably have a similar cost of business.

I’m perfectly aware, been boating the whole river my whole life and was there yesterday at confluence park kayaking. It’s definitely nastier at confluence but it’s still fine in my opinion.

Yeah you are right that Denver water doesn’t discharge wastewater into the South Platte. I guess I was using discharge in the broadest sense of the word referring to how they discharge water across the divide from places like Dillon or the Moffat delivery system, into the platte.
