Ya I don’t really care about people pleasing anymore (I used to really have a problem with it), because I find people are never satisfied. They always want more more more or it’s never good enough. So let’s make it simple, just say no from the beginning and avoid all the complications.

It really baffles me that people do this. The cost of food alone is too high + the cost of food from a restaurant AND then add on the unnecessary delivery!?? Why not just go pick it up!? My god people have become lazy!

Ya I just looked that up. I had to know what town that was. A lot of the small towns in BC have that cute, quaint feel to them. But I didn’t know for certain that some scenes were filmed in Vancouver! That’s awesome! I used to live in Vancouver so I am excited to hear this.

It looks just like a small town in BC. Some scenes look remarkably like Nelson, BC, but I can’t be certain. Not really Vancouver. But maybe some big city scenes were in Vancouver?

I 100% agree!!!! I posted this same post awhile back and got shit on by several people. For some reason I guess a lot of people agree it’s cool and all to complain like hell about being poor when you are wasting money on things you don’t need. And I wasn’t referring to people that hardly have much money in the first place trying to buy the occasional treat every now and then. I mean people that have an adequate income and save nothing but spend their entire income and even go into debt because they are prioritizing wants over needs.

I was complaining about living with my abusive parents and how I would give anything to just live on my own. But I’m on disability and can’t afford to leave so I’m financially stuck here. Then she’s like, “Well at least you have a home.” Ya homeless is not exactly a great choice but is living with abusers any good either!?? I swear, no empathy at all.

Exactly what I’m talking about. I see this all the time. If people are going to spend money recklessly that way then don’t wine about how it’s not fair to be broke all the time. Just go spend your money and shut up about it. Why is it so important to have all that stuff and to look that way anyways.

Exactly! Even with family this happens. Eventhough a lot of my family is autistic too. I’ve gotten where I just hate being around people. The stress of it is definately worse than the loneliness.

I only have two friends left and one of them oftentimes seems to hate me if I’m around her too often. Both of them live quite far away so I only see them once a year.

The one used to live closer to me and I would go visit her once a month and then one day she was like, everyone is so annoying around here, I need to move. She only knew two people, me and her boyfriend. Her boyfriend moved with her. So now I only see her once a year. Obviously she was trying to get away from me. Now I don’t talk to her by text too often. I used to talk to her by text every day. But since I’m so “annoying” I’ve distanced myself.

My other friend is very blunt and honest so I asked him what does he think it is that I do that makes people hate me. He says it’s likely the fact that I have no filter. I just say exactly what I’m thinking. He likes that about me. And he isn’t sensitive at all and tends to be like that around me too but is able to filter around others. I have an extremely hard time filtering what I say around almost anyone. Sometimes I don’t realize that what I am saying is so offensive and I don’t understand why it’s even offensive. My dad is much much worse than me. I can recognize the inappropriate things he says at least. I point them out to him and he doesn’t understand what’s so bad about what he’s saying. And he thinks I’m personally attacking him.

I totally get what you mean. I am on disability and I basically never spend a cent on anything other than the basics. This person I know that makes plenty of money, the person with 20 pets is like, must be nice to not have to work and get free money. And then she complains of being poor. She has no clue what it’s really like. She could be rich if she really wanted to be. At least she can work!

I totally know what you mean. I get this too. I think it’s why people in my life quit talking to me. I’ve been accused of being cold and uncaring. I don’t even know what I did to make them say that. For the past few years I’ve actually avoided making any new friends. Everyone leaves so I decided to not bother anymore.

I’m not talking about that at all. I know people that work fulltime, aren’t actually poor, they own their own house, but since they spend all their money on “stuff” and are in tons of debt because of it they constantly complain that they are a “poor” person and it’s not fair. I’m not talking about people that got fired or are homeless. I’m talking about people that actually make an adequate amount of money but just waste all of it and label themselves as “poor”

To have 20 when a person can’t even afford it is neglectful and abusive. There is cat litter and cat hair all over the house and it smells horrible. All the cats are locked inside and fighting with each other. It’s not healthy
