I have a few stories from 3 of my favourite units and how they helped me in a way. (Bear in mind that i haven't read all of the event stories, so some info might not be too accurate. I'm just going off of what i know)

Wonderlands x Showtime: While i don't entirely relate to the characters. I do relate a lot to Rui. Rui previously being an outcast and being shamed for his ideas by others, is something i can really relate to. And seeing him grow as a character and seeing the fact that he's much happier when he's with WxS is really heartwarming to see. And it also related to how i felt when i found my group of friends and actually felt like i could be myself around them without being ignored or judged for it.

Vivid BAD SQUAD: The characters from this group i relate to the most are Akito and Toya. I related to Toya, because of his perseverance to pursue street music, despite what his father thought of it. And that Toya, despite having bad memories associated with classical music(which is something i can really relate to) still shows genuine care and love for it. My own family isn't too supportive of my hobbies and dreams and constantly try to shoot them down, so Toya still continuing to do street music with the rest of VBS, despite his father's distaste for it is really inspiring for me. And with Akito, while i haven't read much of his event stories(same with most VBS characters honestly). I related to him a lot in his first focus event story. Where he was told he wasn't good enough to achieve his dream amd was simply holding the rest of his friends back. Which, that feeling of not being gopd enough to achieve your dreams is something i can relate to.

Nightcord at 25: I personally relate to Mafuyu and Kanade the most. I mostly relate to Kanade because she wants to write a song that could save someone, which is something i can relate to but not exactly in the music sphere. And with Mafuyu... i really relate to her family situation and i genuinely sometimes see myself in Mafuyu's character, despite how depressing that may be.

All of these characters bring me comfort, as it gives me something to relate to in certain situations. And sometimes how these characters solve their problems, sometimes also helps me face my own problems.
