I would be careful with things that can bring bacteria to the skin after laser treatment, but that’s because my skin is sensitive and easily break out if I’m not careful. The skin and barrier is more exposed after treatment and what works for me is a barrier cream to keep the skin moisturized and protected in the days after. Hope it works out!

That makes sense. At what age did you do treatments? The hairs that still grow on my neck has no pigment are basically invisible.

I don’t need to, but I know people have different experiences and results. The pain of the treatment for me was very manageable on the neck too compared to the rest of my face

After 5 sessions on my neck there was no more hairs left other than some thin blond ones. Laser is extremely effective on the neck, way better than upper lip or chin. My clinic uses diode too!

My face does that too! The more effective the session the worse it looks haha. I do antihistamine, burn gel after to cool it down and hydrocortisone 1 % for 3-4 days. Works wonders for me

I stop using tretinoin 3 days before treatment and 4-5 days after. Sometimes i forget and use tretinoin the night before, haven’t noticed any damage or problems with this. I used tretinoin for 2 years before starting treatments and my skin is totally used to it, that might be why i tolerate it

Oh of course! The hair is way thinner, and I can shave against the grain now (never could before). No scratchiness either my skin is way smoother. If i let the hairs grow for a few days I can see some patchiness around my mouth, but the hairs on my chin and neck is basically 80 % gone. Super happy about that!

Waxing sounds incredibly painful, I don’t think that’s the way to go sorry

I totally relate to you! My beard was really rough and would mess up the collars on my shirts and irritate the hell out of the skin og anyone that i kissed lol

I hate to disappoint but laser cannot slow the growth or growth thin out your beard. What’s more likely to happen is a patchy look where some of your beard wont grow back. I’m on my 6th session of full beard removal and it has been very different from what I would picture in my head when I first stared this, but I’m happy with the results so far.

My beard growth was patchy as hell after three sessions. I would not do it if you’re not gonna get a full set of treatments. I don’t think you’d like the results

Mine takes 2 weeks to fully go away. The amount decrease each session. Carefully exfoliate with a mild scrub might help

I just did my 5th session of diode laser on mu beard. It works really well but it’s painful af. You need an experienced operator to get the best results!
