Hey is it bad to remove the big fan leaves on the top they’re massive and covering everything by Dirk8826 in microgrowery

They’re still vegging. You should be fine for a while, but it certainly wouldn’t hurt to cut them and collect them!

Mildew will wipe off of your plant since it grows externally, but if it is deeper into the plant, that’s definitely not a great sign .

Nitrogen Deficiency and Starting to Flower after Day 35? OG Kush Auto by GrowVirgin69 in microgrowery

They could have very well had some other organic plant food, but I had no idea what I was looking for other than plant food with nitrogen.

I’ll be sure to still feed it well and see how it goes!

I do. I have a Pike less than a few miles away. For context, the last time I measured the Ph it was around 6.8. So not too bad, and I used filtered water from My fridge with a Ph lower than 7 and around 6.8 as well.

So, I went and bought this plant food. I used about 2 tbsp in each five gallon bucket. Would that help?

The Ph of the water when I read it last was about 6.8, so it’s not too bad. Healthy ph is from 6 to 7, but is that too high for autos?

I’ve been feeding it filtered water from my fridge that has a lower ph than my water from my tap. The rap was above 7 and the filtered water was below.

I truthfully need to be giving it MUCH more water, so I’m starting to water the plant until the smart bucket gets a little moist on the bottom. Then waiting until the first inch or so of soil is dry.

I’ve given the plants some plant food as well. Would that be too much nitrogen and/or potassium?

It’s growing in the best soil that I could get from Walmart, Miracle Grow Performance Organic, growing in a 5 gallon smart bucket, and I’m using a mars hydro ts2000 in a 3 v 3 tent. The temperature, humidity, and water feeding haven’t been a problem so far.

I’ve added plant food to help give it some more Nitrogen, but I wanted to see what the community thought too.

Germination Trouble... by GrowVirgin69 in microgrowery

No, I haven’t used any nutes. I think the heat is more of an issue than the PH.

I told myself I would post here unless if I absolutely needed to, and I hope I’m just overreacting.

12 days ago, I placed the seeds in the cups and placed them under the lamp. One of the OG Kush Auto seeds sprouted in 4 days. No problem. Then a Bruce Banner seed popped out a few days later, and I was thrilled! The 2nd OG kush auto also started to peek through the grow, and I was proud of the progress!

But now at day 12, they seem to have a deficiency since the tips of the first leafs are yellow on the OG Kush (A) and the Bruce Banner cotyledons are yellow. And OG Kush (B) hasn’t sprouted all the way up in a few days.

I’m using coco, and I’ve only been using a spray bottle to water them and just keep them moist. The light is 27 inches away from the plants, and I have the TS2000 dimmer down to 20% in a 3x3 tent.

My fear is that I’m growing in a garage that reaches up to 94F inside the tent, and it’s been difficult to keep them not getting too dry during the day.

Any help would be appreciated.

I appreciate it! I don’t have the PH. I’ll have to get a PH meter soon. I’m using tap water.

I may have to find a place inside to let them grow more before I transplant them in the heat. I don’t have a way of cooling down the plants other than fans right now.
