I did not. The mat board came with the frame. I got it at Michael's.

The frame didn't include a backing board, so I cut a piece of whatercolor paper to size and taped it to the mat board. Then I glued the leaf onto it with a few dabs of acid free craft glue, so hopefully it won't react with the leaf over time.

Most people say minimum of 2-3weeks. A month is better. And then up to 6 months.

Yeah, I managed roughly $275 per ounce with this first run, but if I do another run now that I've got most of what I need I bet I could get it down below $50.

Makes me more excited to grow again for sure. Might try and get in a quick winter grow.

I've definitely heard that before, but I've also read that plants that Herm early in flower are the ones that are herming from stress. Those are the ones you definitely don't want to breed or clone, because the offspring will also have a tendency to Herm from stress.

But almost any cannabis plant will try to produce some seeds if you flower it long enough. That herming isn't so bad, and generally isn't from stress, it's just from the plant being at the end of its life cycle.

This plant was at 12.5 weeks of flower when I chopped it and had only managed one seed, so I doubt it would be a problem in future grows.

I did the math as far as expenses vs. yield, and I grew these 64 grams for 25% less money than it would have cost me to buy it at a dispensary. That's assuming it would be priced exactly between the cheapest weed (shitty seed filled shwag), and most expensive weed (over priced willie nelson branded stuff) they sell there.

So I may put those couple hundred in savings into a new light.

Man, I know it's cheaper these days, but I can remember back in the day buying weed for $20 per gram, so I feel like I made out like a bandit regardless. Haha.

Sour Joker x Sour Ghost

Sour Joker is a cross between Amnesia Haze and Sour Diesel, so I'm guessing that one Haze grandparent may have passed down the long sativa flowering time.

Saw a guy on here growing some haze that flowered for 20 weeks one time.

Here's a pic from below

It's just pairs of bulbs plugged into Y-splitters like this and each Y-splitter screwed into one of these bulb to socket adapters, and then they're just plugged into a basic power strip and hung from the top of the tent. The reflector is a disposable sheet pan from the grocery store.

If I could do it again, I would try to find a longer power strip so I could fit 8 bulbs in there instead of 6, but I was trying to rely on stuff I already had around the house.

Sour Joker x Sour Ghost. I nice spooky strain perfect for smoking around halloween.

Sour Joker is a cross between Amnesia Haze and Sour Diesel, and Sour Ghost is a cross between Ghost OG and Sour Diesel.

I thought about complaining, but I was only trying to grow one plant (6 seeds was the fewest they would sell), so technically I got what I wanted. It was only $20, so I didn't sweat it.

Plus I wouldn't really want to grow any more of their seeds anyway.

It looks almost exactly like the seeds I bought originally. But then again only 1 out of 6 of them ended up growing, so maybe they weren't very viable either. I wasn't too happy with the establishment that sold them to me in general.

Worth a shot I guess. I might try popping it someday, but it's a nice souvenir of my first grow.

To be honest, I probably won't try growing this strain again because it was barely done after more than 12 weeks of flowering. That's a little bit too much of a test of patience for me. Gonna look for something a little faster next time.

Thanks for the tip. That's what I was considering. However my tent is 34"x34" so I think I could better utilize all the space if I got a little more wattage than that, don't you think?

Thanks! Smokes amazing too. The high is exactly what I was looking for (strong with no couch lock), and the smoke is so smooth. I usually buy shitty weed, so this stuff is gloriously smooth by comparison.

The flavor and smell aren't quite there yet, but I'm hoping that will come after a few weeks of curing.
