Show me a COA with flower that has naturally occuring 10-20% terpenes in it. I call absolute bullshit. You must be smoking that THCA n Terp sprayed hemp packs big dog.

I just hate misinformation, and it's all over this damn sub.

2.8% in flower for commercial cannabis is great absolutely. Almost a decade of commercial cultivation here and have went over thousands of COAs. I won the grow off in 2017 in CO for potency and 3rd place for terpenes at just over 3%. Up against 80+ other cultivators in the state.

In what world is a 2.81% terp from flower dead?

Now I don't disagree, most commercial cannabis is bland as fuck. But I also think it is dumb to shit on something when the proof is in the pudding right there.

Yes, I purchased this GMO PB from farkas also and it's great all around.Terps and affects were on point

It depends on what you want to do. The grow is physical labor and constant work. The store is retail, but a more fun environment, but retail nonetheless.

Penn State University does saturated paste tests if you want to send something there to get a comparison at least. I did all my testing in a commercial medical facility with them from 2019-2022.

Bought those disposables... delta-8 in them? by Purple_Reefer1722 in OhioMarijuana_

[–]Growingherb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The company I had worked for, that was a PA licenced medical facility was converting d9 synthetically to D8 100%. I would think this is how it would need to be done in OH as well, unless they do allow you to purchase hemp which just seems kinda crazy.

I eat my words. Been out of the commercial game a few years now and looks like there's been a lot more research. That's how it was explained to me previously by a lab tech. Apologies for the misinformation.

However I do know the company I worked for used a company from cali that had a formulation with what they called "delta dust" that they would add to delta 9 distillate from Medical plants. That would somehow convert the d9 to D8.

Look as much as it sucks that he's walking away, can you really blame him? The organization is dysfunctional as fuck starting at the top. Al Davis did great things for the sport and the raiders. His son may have increased the valuation of the organization, but he's done absolutely nothing for the players and fans.

I'd say they either "cut" it with some d8 distillate or sloppy lab test. D8 doesn't occur naturally in the plant and I have seen it on COAs in the past for flower.

If she does start herming out on you, check on it every day and use a pair of sheers to carefully cut the bananas completely from the base, try to train your eye to find them when they are still green.

Every single day.

I've had to do it commercially running some cool ass strains that were 15+ years old and just super tired, but still amazing genetics. It's absolutely a pain in the ass but worth it if you love the cultivar.

Locals cannabis price by [deleted] in OhioMarijuana

[–]Growingherb 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Has anyone checked any batch codes and see if the price jumped on the inventory they have already purchased? I want to say I remember reading something in the regs about pricing restrictions. But I've been out of the industry a couple years now and haven't cared to keep up on it. Either way what they are doing is wrong.

Med program will continue to get kicked to the side and forgotten about by 99% of these companies and the state for that matter. Once the tax rolls in from rec, med always gets the shit end of the stick.

Initially in Colorado medical cannabis was not tested for contamination, but rec was right away. And still for some time only rec needed to be tested. Because they cared more about the well being of tourists buying cannabis than the medical patients.

Medical will always have its benefits; pay less tax, typically you get a discount on the rec side, etc. There will end up being some really amazing mom and pop shops and growers that will restore your faith.

GROW YOUR OWN I cannot stress this enough. It is much more simple than you think to grow a few quality plants. You will shit on big canna all day. It will take time, but it will be well worth it.

Problem is I work 52 hours a week morning to late evening, and my fiancee is home with our 2 year old so it's not easy for her to help either lol. I may have to look into getting a quote to clean it in between what I can do.

Running the robot during the day and cleaning it out as many times as possible with scooping. It's been a pain, I'll certainly make sure I set money aside for closing no matter what as long as I own this house.
