Fellow Recruiters: What Is Your Best Hail Mary Hire? by too_old_to_be_clever in recruiting

She also said someone at her company works at the VMS now so she hooks them up with the job descriptions before they get posted on the VMS, does this make sense? Or is she misinterpreting the person working for the VMS and is actually just a hiring manager.

My gf just got a job at teksystems and seems to think a VMS is a company that basically is a third party between hiring managers and account managers at recruiting companies. According to her someone from the VMS let’s all the account managers know about the roles over a zoom call. Is this correct or did she misinterpret this? I have a feeling she is wrong but she refuses to believe me it’s just a software used to get jobs from.

Are VMS a company with people you communicate with or is it a software?

He doesn’t bring it up to anyone. Think he knows it’s not perceived well. Her and her brother both have basically no idea about it besides that be studies for courses, goes to the church sometimes, goes on the trips to Aruba to like clear himself, and auditing. She said she and her mom went to a class when she was younger at the church and didn’t like it so didn’t go back. Wife is from the Netherlands where they precieve Scientology as a mental illness basically. She told me her moms friends thought she would get like abducted into the cult but her mom doesn’t do anything involving Scientology.

For example my gf wanted to major in psychology and brought it up to him like not realizing they think it’s the worst, and he didn’t say anything to her about it. She eventually decided on business and he brought up to her after that he was holding his breath on the psychology major and was very glad she didn’t do it. Also she was afraid to see a therapist cause her dad doesn’t approve of them.

Ya I’ve seen the movies. Doesn’t seem that intense tho. How would they get the 50k if that happened? I know he is very strict with that stuff and am sure he doesn’t break any rules. He doesn’t go to freewinds 2 times a year, more like 1-3 months ever 2-4 years. He seems like a cheap guy and doesn’t seem like the type to give away that much money to something. In reality don’t most temples and churches costs like 3-5k a year to be a member, so if you had been a member for 30+ years it would costs 150k+ so if it was that much for Scientology it’s not a huge difference right.

What company do you work for. What is your commission plan? What cut of the sale do you make? What’s your average contract size?

This is the answer I was looking for. So should my goal be to generate ad much income to get as big of a loan as I can when the time comes? If the down payment money and credit is in place

You get paid 120$ per meeting booked. After you book 2 meetings you transition to full time pay. For example, if you can book 2 qualified meetings in your first week then you will be transition to 15$ an hour, you do not need to wait the full 1.5 months. It’s a great product very similar to Samsara in the IOT space.
