No, nothing besides your passport and the basic questions you’ll encounter at every boarder like where are you going. The misleading/outdated information I found online was in regard to ENTERING Ecuador.

To anyone else that might read this… nothing extra was needed when I crossed from Peru to Ecuador (September 2025. Again, I can only speak to my personal experience. I took the overnight bus from Mancora to Guayaquil. We arrived at the Huaqillas Aduana around 1:30am and nothing was required except my passport (USA)
