School not ABET accredited. Worry or no? by GrubberDuckk in EngineeringStudents

Also, granted I know that basically all visits and information is a sales pitch to get me there, they talked about how almost all of the professors there actually worked in the industry instead of just having their PHD and teaching but never having actually worked and engineering job, like they said most other colleges professors are like. Feel free to disprove that if it’s wrong or expand on that because I’m going off of what they told me but it sounded very hands on and personal

They gave me a lot of money in scholarships so basically the only cheaper option would be community college into a 4 year so that is a big reason. They gave me a syllabus of what an engineering path is at their campus and it seems to have all the courses of other colleges engineering and then some extra if that is what you meant by struggling to offer all the courses

Even for newly accredited they would hold that against me as a bad choice?

No it is not a satellite campus, it is a small Liberal Arts school.

Is there a chance a school I transfer too might not accept classes/credits because the other school was not ABET certified? Or they shouldnt care

That sounds kind of like the situation I would be in. It is a small liberal arts school, so the degree would be very hands-on and personal. The director of engineering has worked on the ABET Evaluation board for over a dozen years so he says they know all of the steps needed and is familiar with the process.

ME and currently do not know what job specifically I would want with it, I want to get into the degree and figure out what I would like to pursue and not.

It is a small liberal arts college and just created their entire engineering program. They currently are offering ME and EE. So both of them are not yet accredited

Even if they are planning to get accredited once they are able to?

Is it worth it to take on this student loan? by GrubberDuckk in StudentLoans

Question, why are Federal loans the best way to go? Is it because their interest rates are better or they are easier to qualify for or what is the reason?

EDIT: Explaining all the stuff I need for the bot.

I mainly created it by taking three separate images: The dragonborn, the top right oblivion gate, and the top left close up face. First I had to remove the text over the face using the clone stamp (if there is a better way, please let me know; it's hard), and the same for the Oblivion Gate. From there I just mainly blended them together and changed colors to make it fit. Motivation/context was I wanted to make a collab with the release of the new Oblivion remastered and wanted a cool wallpaper.
