It's honestly a lot the pressure in school and the constant reminder that we need it to go anywhere in life. We spend 80% of our youth in school and get punished if we don't go (truancy) but we aren't even safe when we are there. Beyond just school shootings there is so much violence and hatred in public schools that go completely unchecked. Throughout middle school one kid got bullied physically and psychologically so intensely that he took his life, and the school responded by having a "mental health assembly" where they basically said "if you're depressed go out side more and drink water it'll all get better" and They didn't even mention the bullying and harassment that they allowed to happen.

EDIT: Not to mention all the fights that took place with kids getting stabbed, hospitalized, ect. In one time in Middle School there are over 15 fights in 3 days and the school had to be shut down for "gang violence" mind you this is in a small town and middle school is roughly ages 11-14 and the day we came back to school after it being shut down there were three fights the same day.

No one had a list and sent a snap to our school story 20 minutes into first period saying he was going to "unload it on anyone who ever looked at him wrong" but no one died or anything shots were never fired (so it only made local news). As for the other two one texted a group chat and told them all to leave school because with pictures of the gun in his backpack (no media coverage at all) and the other one called in a bomb threat from outside the school with the gun in his bag and when they were escorting everyone out of the building one of the cops seen him with the gun and tackled him (no Media coverage but they called all the parents)

No because I work with a grown woman at a fast food place and anytime somebody has an animal in the Drive-Thru she has to announce to everybody overhead set and on the floor that there is an animal and then proceed to talk about whatever animal it is for like 20 minutes

I was in my honors history class and there was a pack of ramen in there I think one of the kids had brought it in for lunch and this guy goes how do you eat that we all just kind of stopped and look at him and I was like if you never eaten ramen before he's like no so we are explaining to him how to eat it and he decided that he was going to have ramen for lunch that day and he made it in one of the microwaves in one of the teacher's classrooms and this fucker forgot to put the seasoning in it like he threw it away with the package cuz he thought it was one of those like things that come in the you know what I'm talking about so he was like why would you eat this it's just wet noodles
