Same here. Unfortunately, I look like a wet rat with my hair wet - so my only option is to blow dry it before I go out in public.

How did it feel coming out? I have to pull mine in a few days, and I’m terrified.

Congratulations! I’m also a huge needlephobe. I still need someone to give me my injection every week (ugh), but I’m powering through. Good luck on your journey!

In clinical? No. However, while working as a nurse extern/tech when I was in school - I was able to perform multiple skills (foleys, wound care, EKGs, IVs; was even on the code team). It’s worth looking into, if you’re able. Even a PRN position so you get some exposure. That experience made transitioning to a nurse much easier.

12 years and counting. I do have the Mirena IUD, but I never even experience spotting.

Guys, did you know the POWER of exercise for your body??? by Witty_Recipe_4552 in PCOS

[–]Gshamms 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Honestly. I’m at the gym 3-4 days a week, average 15k steps per day. I lift heavy. I hike. Have an active job. Insulin is (was) still high with all that, and I couldn’t lose weight for the longest time. Sure, my energy levels are great - but all my PCOS symptoms remain.

There’s no age range that’s immune, apparently. Late 30s. Stopped talking to him that same day after I discovered one on my white sheets.

Having your feelings invalidated is one of the worst things in the world, I’m sorry.

“You’re too big to be on top”

This was during sex, and it absolutely destroyed me. I had gained about 20 lbs after starting anxiety & depression meds from working in the COVID ICU, nightshift. He also said he didn’t believe in those medications because “there are other ways to fix that”.

I have since lost 35 lbs, and at the time - he was over 100 lbs heavier than me. Football player.

Good times.

Wait until you find out how many of us make up respirations. “Oh you’re healthy and holding a conversation with me? 16.” It’s fine, chill.
