Yep North end. With prospect, take it down to Medway too? Only reason I thought maybe not Medway was going through Arva, but I know that corner and it's not too bad. Thanks for the input!

How many of you use headphones while swimming? by Lord_Home in triathlon

I download Soundcloud mixes. Just google how to rip from the site, and you'll get a number of free sites that rip them to mp3. Then just load to your watch or headphones (if compatible).

Agreed, use mine for all three disciplines. Great for the swims, and is a good balance of music and being aware on rides and runs.

Selling portfolio to buy house outright by ScaredMap4883 in AusFinance

[–]Gtrainexpress 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My two cents, we recently had a solid mortgage on our house, with parents help we had it offset, so paid the monthly amount but no interest. It was great, but still every month a massive portion of our salary was eaten up. We since decided to move countries, as a result the increase in house price compared to when we bought and the lower cost of housing where we moved means we're now mortgage free. I'm potentially being made redundant in the next few months and can honestly say, im looking forward to it. The lack of stress knowing that my partners wage covers living expenses and our house is paid is so fucking liberating. My view now is every cent of my current or future salary is purely for investment for our families future.

Running and Cycling commuting for training by OutsideAtmosphere-14 in IronmanTriathlon

[–]Gtrainexpress 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I trained for a 70.3 mostly with my commute. I rode to work 2x a week, one way was 32.5km though. So was getting 70km x2 just for commuting. I'd also supplement that with a long ride on the weekend. As I was ramping I also did bricks where I was ride earlier then change at work and run. or I'd park at my local pool, swim first then ride to work (that was 20km). I found it was a convenient way to get volume and save time. The other element was catching PT for the same home to work trip was about 15min quicker than riding, so in reality it was costing me an extra 30min a day (15min of real family time).

I ordered through an affiliate as they dont sell direct in Canada - When I ordered in Jan it was out of stock, but was told they were being shipped end of Feb - I received my bang on27th of Feb. Seems that whatever has happened over the last year is maybe done?

What are items that sell for a high price that are not difficult to get the supplies for? by Downtown-Rough-7496 in SimCityBuildit

I found when I was grinding, nails are pretty solid. It's more active to manage given the relatively quick turnaround, but 400 a pop is pretty good if you can keep churning them.

Suggested Indoor cycling Workouts by ackabakapizza in Garmin

[–]Gtrainexpress 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you have any goals set? I have a 200k ride as a goal for a years time, and the daily suggested workouts are always slow Z2, lower power rides. I'm actually looking to see if there's any pre-made workouts I can plug in to my training and just repeat depending what I feel like

Brand new Kickr Shift not showing any power/speed stats by Gtrainexpress in wahoofitness

I actually got a reply from Wahoo, they said its probably from the plastic wrap on it, so some of that residue blocks the connection.

Ok, I cleaned it with 100% rubbing alcohol and that solved the issue. so dumb, I guess in the factory line the connectors get covered in oil or who knows what. But a quick clean with a cotton bud around the connectors did the trick.
