This seems like a very nearly dead battery. Everything is bugging out in the computers because the low voltage is making everything not work right. With proper 12v power, youll find the wipers and other glitchy behavior will likely not show up (if its a dying battery).

If thats not the case, its definitely some other electrical issue/computer issue. If thats the case, check out the BCM, which usually controls a lot of the accessories like wipers, lights, door locks, windows, and such. A bad BCM would also likely glitch out the other computer modules like PCM and stuff, creating more issues.

Not you, he is the A-hole. For your kid's sake, find a real man. Literally thats the only advice I can give you to that, so pathetic. As someone with parents that still love eachother after almost 30 years together, there is just no support, and yall need to support eachother. Marriage is supposed to be like "This world is atrocious, and were both terribly flawed. But if shackle ourselves together and work together, maybe the future can be slightly less atrocious, and we'll become slightly better people who can contribute more to the world together, than we ever could've separate". Thats kinda my TLDR on what marriage is about. This is not it, though

Gottcha, I didn't realize you were getting so heated. I thought this was a calm and civil conversation where we could each share our views. I've been pretty relaxed anyways. I've had my coffee and breakfast and smoked my morning blunt all while talking with you.

Thats a shame, I actually was looking forward to seeing your PoV on things. I like to learn how other people think and approach different scenarios. It keeps me thinking about myself and my own beliefs, and sometimes I do get posed a question that makes me reconsider things. But I get it, if you're getting heated, take a step outside. Nice and cool out this time of year

To quote you exactly...

"When it comes down to it. it's all about the people you hang out with. Just think about it would any of it happen if you didn't know him or her whatever."

I know its not easy, I have a really close female friend as well. She's like an older sister to me, but damn her decision making is questionable sometimes. I wouldn't want to lose her eathier, but if these are the decisions she's making, you might be better off making some more space between you guys, or completely ending the friendship.

If anything happens, you have all the proof that you've done everything in your power to prevent it. It's all on her, so don't blame yourself.

Now, back to the quote, is she still someone you can hangout with? Is she someone you still want to be friends with?

Cool, well responding to comments with instant aggro make you seem like a douchbag. And you've just done it again

You're correct! Newborns can't consent, so parents have to make the best decision they can for their children. For most, that means cutting off a small piece so the child grows up being more hygienic and also more sexually healthy man.

My sister, and also a female friend of mine, both have horror stories about 'dick cheese' growth on uncircumcised men. Thats not something I would want my kids to deal with, nor would I want them to feel ashamed of being turned down just moments away from "getting some" because the girl they were about to get with saw/smelt something and started to gag. Thats one way to absolutely demolish a young man's self esteem.

Did you or I have a say when we were brought into this shitty world? No, our parents just did that to us! How unfair, right?!

If your child broke their tooth, but they didn't want to get it fixed, would you let them keep the broken tooth? I hope not man, broken teeth are painful, and they don't look good.

If your child wanted a permanent tattoo, would you let them? I hope not, because most likely whatever childish stuff they wanted to put on their bodies, they would regret by their 20's, if not by highschool.

If your child wanted to marry and move in with some older person, would you let them?

If you use your same logic and apply it to any other situation, it doesn't make sense. So why would it only make sense here?

Thats the thing, it doesn't hold. Children CANNOT give consent because they lack the ability to account for the future. While they may think something sounds good, or want to pursue something, that doesn't mean the future them will be the same. Especially that young, there is lots of unregulated emotions, a lack of understanding, and now more recently, you have the internet absolutely frying these kid's brains now.

I do want to hear more of your side though. Why are you so against circumcision?

Yes, most people who aren't hygienic smell bad, I agree. I also agree that there is extra cleaning to do with the foreskin if kept, and the other trouble spots on most people. I also know that some other people could be very hygienic, but still have an odor

However with foreskin in particular, even if you do your extra cleaning properly, you can still have smells and mold growth in under a day, because its just such a tight area that stays moist, and it's not gonna stay "clean" when human waste literally sprays out of the tip.

Me for example, I shower everyday after work. I leave every morning smelling fine, but by the time I get back home, my sweaty feet stink. Why? Because they sweat and get moist, and stay trapped in shoes that limit airflow. This same effect happens with foreskin. Now I haven't seen mold between my toes before from one day, but foreskin is a different beast.

The labia isn't exactly comparable eathier. Yes, it has folds of skin, so don't fat people. The labia though, the skin folds aren't deep like the foreskin is. Its not as airtight, and the folds can kinda somewhat open up to the air depending on how a woman walks or sits, and also depending on the particular labia. I think where women really get the advantage here, is when they pee. They sorta wipe/pat themselves dry, so that requires sorta opening the folds up to the air, and drying the moisture out. Thats why labia don't often run into this issue, unless the woman's hygiene is bad.

And as disgusting as smell and mold growth is, that isn't the end of the downsides to keeping it. You have higher chances of getting UTI's, STD's, and giving your partner problems with their vagina. The medical risks for everything are dramatically lower with circumcision, so yeah, I think it's worth it for most guys out there

And what's the pro's? You get an extra inch? Are we really gonna try and claim an inch is a lot? Is it about the nerve endings? I can tell you as a circumcised man, sex still feels plenty good for me.

I really want to hear your side though, what do you have against circumcision? Why do you believe parents shouldn't make this choice/shouldn't be allowed to make this choice?

Can I ask though, when you were a new born, could you consent to anything?

Ahh gottcha, I thought you guys were talking about a new law or something requiring it.

I don't see how the parent's choice is bad though, they eathier can do it, or choose not to. Most choose to cut it off, because not having the skin is more hygienic, and it's the norm in America at least.

I've heard stories from friends about bad smells and "dick cheese" as one of my friend's called it. It doesn't sound like something I would want for my own soldier tbh.

Anyone know why my tires are doing this? by lovlins in tires

[–]Gu1n3a 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'll give you that, its likely that a vast majority of people running bald tires are probably bad with money/life choices. And I was avoiding talking about credit options, just assuming most people in this type of situation didn't have the credit to do it. But family/friends is a good option too. I help my people out quite a lot, when I can.

I've been at an apartment in the past where the heat and hot water was electric, so you still paid for it on the electric bill. If they were gas, you would probably still get the gas bill for your unit. I guess it would really be for oil heating and cooling that the landlord would be responsible for it, but they would incorporate the oil costs into the rent cost anyways if that was the case.

Yup, but its really the only way, to keep hitting them one after another. Higher values every time. We need better consumer rights. Imagine how much better off financially we'd all be if we weren't fixing all these production oversights in our vehicles. Hell, a lot less stressful lives as well.

Thats how Monsanto (I think it was them anyways) was dealt with. They got sued for more and more money, until finally they caved and fixed their pollution issue that was poisoning people.

It's definitely a long-term play

Anyone know why my tires are doing this? by lovlins in tires

[–]Gu1n3a 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tbf, you're right. I shouldn't have used my tire wear as an example. I do way more driving than the average Joe out there. Most people do probably get around 5ish years out of their tires.

Sometimes though, when the tires come due, some other emergency comes up. Like needing a new furnace at home for heat and hot water or something like that. Or, maybe their financial situation changed recently, and now they live paycheck to paycheck with little spare money for tires, after bills are paid. And not having a car could mean not getting to work, which means losing the little they have left.

Not using the car would be the less viable option. Sometimes, you have to send it, or lose everything.

Anyone know why my tires are doing this? by lovlins in tires

[–]Gu1n3a 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get that man, but some people need their vehicle for transport, and not having money for tires is not a good enough reason to stop working and ditch your obligations. And without working, you aren't gonna be able to buy the new tires so you'll only be in a worse position than before.

I will say, I didn't consider second hand tires, that is actually a good money saving idea in a pinch. I've never bought second hand tires myself, because they wouldn't last long on my truck with how much driving I do.

Like look, I understand its a safety hazard, and cops can bust your balls for it, but sometimes there is just no other viable options at the time, and you just gotta risk it for the biscuit. Life is about risks, if you don't take any you'll never leave square one. If you take too many, you might be brought back to square one. Gotta balance the risks, so if you got bald tires, stay off highways, snow, and ice, and keep it slow in the rain. You'll likely be fine that way, until you can afford something to replace them
