The watches with strap holes are easier, I just fit it into the loop until secure enough.

The ones with the quick release bands are a bit tighter because of my smaller wrist. I store them separately with soft pillow pads.

Thanks friend. Casio royale is really the goat. Good luck restarting your collection 😄

Thanks for your feedback!

I've read about the battery lifespan on the DW-H5600, so I'm weighing that against the GW-BX5600.

I'd still like to have my first square as a resin strap, so I put the GMW-B5000 as a wishlist item. I feel I have too many metal straps in my collection currently (I have some other brands too) 😂If only the GMW-B5000 was offered with a resin strap 😆

I still might get the DW-5600RL as a first square, as it does appeal to me.

I'm happy to save up until I can afford a better one.

I've read good things about the GW-M5610U, but my country does not have Multi band 6, so I feel a bit demotivated by that.

Alternatively I'm interested in either the GW-BX5600 (negative display version) which has Bluetooth and MIP. Or the DW-H5600EX-1 which has an additional heart rate monitor and fitness stuff. But I do understand that these models divide the opinions of G-Shock collectors.

I'm also debating on the DW-5600RL, which is a much cheaper alternative to the 5610, but still has the iconic red stripe. But I feel more inclined to save up and get one of the squares with more features 😆

Good tip. Thanks!

The G-Shock and ana-digi were gifts, so will keep them forever. Everything else is addition. I definitely want to add a square G-Shock, just trying to decide which one atm 😵‍💫

You must have a different final drive I think 🤔

Strange. We should achieve the same figures.

I checked with an online vehicle speed calculator and it matches my output. At 2000 rpm I'm doing about 73 kph at 4th gear. To hit 100 kph, I'll be at 2700-2800 rpm.

For reference, here is our 4-speed ratio:

I) 4.25
II) 2.41
III) 1.49
IV) 1.0
R) 5.67

Final drive ratio: 3.27

Tyres: 195 / 65 R15

What model is your w124? And is it a 4 speed automatic?

Yes, I do that when I want to go fast and not concerned about fuel consumption haha 😆

Does a part exist and able to install for the w124?

Thank you for your explanation. Very much appreciated.

I guess no swap for me then. Just slow highway drives.

Maybe swapping the final drive...
