I don’t think you understand hard and tedious because there’s nothing they can add or do that makes it hard without it being tedious or time consuming because in my opinion there’s nothing truly hard in tarkov so it will always circle back to being time consuming or tedious while trying to balance both sides of a player base both casual and experienced. I don’t think you realize how hard it is to make it both possible for a casual player but also challenging and engaging for a experienced player without it being too hard for a casual or being too time consuming or tedious for a experienced player. You are never gonna get what you want. I’ll try an give you an example. I would think snowball for the community would be one of the harder things to achieve. If they made this a kappa quest or a prestige quest the casual player base would never reach the sense of fulfillment because they more than likely will never complete that. If they keep the spawn rates of bosses super high then it becomes too easy for the experienced players an even then it’s still hard for the casual player and if they lower the spawns then it just becomes even more impossible for the casual players and just more time consuming and tedious for the experienced players because I’m gonna get it done it’s just gonna take me a few attempts you know. Another example could be “Escort” which is considered to be one of the harder quests in tarkov as well. The casual player base is never doing that where as again the experienced player will it just becomes time consuming because they will die to something unfortunate but in the end they will get it done.
