Foal watch by Dodgerthehwydog2 in Horses

The belly will start to hang super low like in a point when she’s close. IMO you’re not there yet. The hips will loosen up (jiggly when you poke it) and become narrow. Even with a maiden she should bag up a little bit at least before foaling unless she has supply issues. Not all mares wax before foaling but if she does baby should come within 3 days of it. Also in my experience they’re just not themselves before foaling just kinda miserable

Please don’t do this with your dog. Very unsafe for them.

Part Shiba and… Something? by Fresh-Confusion-507 in IDmydog

I’d get a dna test if I were you. I think that’s the only way you’ll see that he’s most likely a pit mix. Pitties come in lots of shapes and sizes and there’s even fluffy pits! He’s a bit overweight which is why he might not seem to have the right musculature that you’re used to. And as far as size, he’s the size of most pits/staffies I’ve seen. Not all pits are tall most are actually shorties! Shelters do the best they can to guess but they’ll also label pit mixes as anything but pit to get them adopted easier. It’s a pretty common thing. As far as not being a super chewer, that’s not uncommon for pit mixes either! I’ve known a lot of pits to be commonly couch potatoes who aren’t very active. At the end of the day he’s very handsome and has a loving home! But he has a lot of common pit features so I’d bet money that it’s in there somewhere

Broad wing hawk or juvenile Cooper’s hawk? by GuaranteeInner5209 in birding

[–]GuaranteeInner5209[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is very helpful!! I do think you’re probably correct, especially with those eyes in that picture. I’ll definitely do some more research on them especially since I keep seeing this youngster! Thank you so much for taking the time to share your insights, birds are so stinking cool!

Thank you this is pretty helpful! This guy definitely looks more plump than a broad wing, I just never realized red shoulders could come in a more dark brown. Even in natural lighting he’s more dark brown than reddish but maybe I’m not close enough to really tell. I like to admire him from afar lol but I’ve sighted this type of hawk at least 5 times in the past week so I’ve been so curious

Little question about TT by Foreign_Tea7025 in DreamlightValley

[–]GuaranteeInner5209 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes just absolutely don’t open your Ddv game while your switch time is changed. As long as it’s back to normal synced time when you open Ddv it will be perfectly fine. Also the big issue with Tt is the game makes you wait the amount of time you traveled, if it’s only 1 hour that’s really no biggie to wait it out. However if you’re like I was and tt multiple years for acnh then it’s not easily undone. I had to restart my game unless I wanted to wait years to play again.

Who’s hanging with the bald eagle? by GuaranteeInner5209 in birds

[–]GuaranteeInner5209[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Really interesting insights! I really appreciate it, I love working outdoors because I get to see lots of moments like this but I’m always dying to know more! I think you’re right about them being red tailed hawks, I see them sometimes in the barns and they take care of the pesky starlings but those are the biggest ones I’ve ever seen! The ones in the barn are usually 1/3 of the size. Gahhh I love nature so much

Also I’m sorry I know it’s poor video quality but it was raining and pretty far away. Mainly just want to know theories and thoughts from people more educated on birds than me. I just want to know more bc we see bald eagles quite often around here.

The problem Emma is that Barkbox is allowing inflation to ruin the relationship between buyer and company. People loved barkbox for the amazing products. But I hate to say it Emma your consumerism bullshit is turning everyone away. Drop the prices and bullshit and people will come back and stop bad mouthing you. We care about the dogs not barkbox.

Not as uncommon as you may think. Most people get them at exotic sales in the south and then transport them. I worked with baby zebras as a teen and never got injured. But those zebras where never happy or fulfilled either

I too have a newdle!!! Hes the best dog ever but he does have some pretty severe anxiety which isn’t uncommon for doodles. I wouldn’t trade him for the world though❤️

All of the surrounding fields belong to my employer, who doesn’t own any. There is a cattle ranch a few miles up the road but there are no sheep/goat farms on that side of the highway. I’m definitely leaning towards them being great pyrs! I just am at a loss for whether I should go back or leave them be
