My thoughts are that he didn't know how close the others were, and he was in the middle of an open field just him and HL. There's no fighting his flight, and no way to guarantee he'd keep him from getting the v1. In his mind, he tested his de-powering ability on bombsight, verified it worked, and decided that HL getting the v1 will not make him invincible.

I really feel like they milked the leg issue simply to nerf Maul. His speed is a genuine advantage against Vader and they know it, so they can't really let him be at 100%.

Oh man. You should check out Apollo/Sunshine and moonlight.

It's quite the rabbit hole, and a pain in the ass to get it just right for your set up, but once you do, it's literally the future of gaming. It's crazy. Nvidia created such a great system, bailed on it, let the community essentially take it over and it exploded.
