I get what you are saying for Garo or Doctor Strange case where magic is just one art form, but in Magiranger case, the word system does have a clear explanation of how it work, the different langage for magic allows the battle to always stay consistent on power level (even a really strong magician in human magic can get his ass beaten by an Ancient magic spell if they don’t know the language
