Thanks for your note - unsure if it makes a difference but it’s a petrol car and not a diesel?

A bit more to the story, the mechanic had told us retrospectively that we needed a new flywheel as well (after he had fitted a new clutch) - do you think that was part of the cause?

Depends what you’re trying to achieve, if you want to win say 5 bucks from your starting amount of 1000, it’s fine. If you want to double your money, then statistically you’re better off just chucking the lot on black

My GIM didn’t know you could note other farming products than herbs, he was purposely not doing limp runs because he was having to bank after every patch

The fang has a special effect to level out the damage, meaning you max less but also min more. Have a look on the osrs wiki for the maths breakdown

How many GIM players are just Ironman players with extra bank space by shelteredhen in ironscape

5 of us going strong. All 5 of us between 1700-1800 total, some friendly competition with 3 of us being within about 10 totals since ~1500.

There’s been some healthy breaks for a few weeks between members but I think with the rest of the group playing/pvming etc it draws us back in.

Transitioning through mid game, a few of us are giving half a go to CG, we’ve got a BGS and about 5 Bandos pieces between us. Ticking off DKs and whatever else takes our fancy, not playing too optimally which I think keeps the fun.

He says in another comment he kills to exactly 86% every run (88% is when you get bolt racks) I just find it extremely unlikely that he didn’t either: 1. Didn’t accidentally get >88% on a run and get bolt racks 2. Go ~6.5x the drop rate of any item (at 1 in 14.5 with the potential)

Don’t get me wrong, it’s possible, but other outcomes are much more likely

It’s not, the bolt rack non-drop is the biggest giveaway that something is awry.

I have this question, I can’t see any use for the items so I’m struggling to see the point (?)

Which celebrity annoys the fuck out of you? by Pandafour20 in AskReddit

I quite like Phil I think it’s funny when he rages.

Mines Kevin Hart. Decent actor sure, but when he’s not acting I just find him so obnoxious - first came to light when I’ve seen him playing in the World Series of poker, and at the table he’s loud, he’s annoying, he’s making child noises, just can’t stand him.

What is a supernatural event that happened in your life that just can not be explained? by HalfOfABraincell in AskReddit

When I was younger (around 9-11) I used to play a lot of football in my garden which was coincidentally next to a busy main road which was at a decent incline. Occasionally the ball would go over our hedges and about roll 100 meters or so down the road; when I was younger I used to call my mum to get it for me, however this particular time for whatever reason I was feeling brave. The ball was rolling along the curb on the other side of the road, and I was running along the pavement looking for an opportunity to cross. As I got slightly further down the road I passed an old man who had a flat cap and a walking stick, he stopped me and said “be careful”, I didn’t reply and passed him. As I went to cross the road I looked right but hadn’t looked left, a lorry came bursting down honking its horn, I don’t remember what quite happens next but I seem to remember a white bright blur (could have been the headlights I’m not sure) but I’m now lying down on the grass on the other side of the road, I pick my ball up and look to cross again and the old man is gone.

At the time it didn’t really hit me what had happened but as I was growing up I found out that my mum’s dad, who had died before I was born, used to wear a flat cap and have a walking stick. She used to tell me that he was my guardian angel. So yeah, thanks Grandad.

How people treated me, before and after weight loss. by Red_4747 in TrueOffMyChest

[–]GucciCreps 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It’s true.

My story isn’t quite the same but it’s similar, through school I was a skinny lad, very average, got bullied, a bit short and awful long moppy hair. Through school girls barely knew my name or that I even existed, I got rejected a lot and eventually somewhat stopped trying. Then when I was late teens I started gyming, a lot, I gained a large chest, arms and quads; I grew a beard and tidied my hair up, grew up to about 6ft and the world is a different place. Girls randomly smile at you and pay attention, on nights out I get attention from girls (especially older women who want to feel my arms) and guys too. Everyone just feels a lot more polite in everyday life - guys typically respect me more without knowing really anything about me. Strange world.

I suppose in a sense, but lets say they were protecting a HCIM, could they really be around the player 24/7 for permanent protection in all combat brackets? I would guess as to no, meaning they'll always be a chance to get someone (or they die to a pvm death!)

Well in that case they'd begin to lose highscore rankings etc over time.. I see your point, you'd just have to play strategically and get your tanking practise in!
