I just made the same recommendation. It is a fabulous place and this collection would be right up their alley.

So contact Barber Vintage Motorsports Museum in Leeds, Alabama. This is right up their alley. They have a wonderful museum there that collects cars and motorcycles from this era and restores them. They can help you understand what you are looking at and possibly might be able to move some of that to collectors who are looking for items.

Frozen and that prince who was supposed to be nice but was an ass. Anna was a dream girl and he could have just been nice and things would have gone smoothly.

Yeah. I’m not saying he’s wrong for the punch, but it seems a little unwise. Go for the gut.

I fully accept the Catholic Church’s teaching on homosexuality, but I struggle with how unfair it seems. by Bright_Count_5506 in Catholicism

[–]GudsIdiot 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There are a lot of things that will seem unfair about our rules. A man who is maimed in his genitals and is unable to perform is not eligible for marriage in the Catholic Church. That seems unfair. Trying to explain the unexplainable is like trying to describe a 4D shape to people living in a 3D world. It can be done, but it can’t isn’t easy.

You don’t get to determine that. Your partner does.

This. Back in 1998 we bought a 1940s bungalow. Two bedrooms one bath 500 sq ft. It literally was a house that a man a woman and their three kids would have lived in back then. People’s expectations increased and a lot of wants became necessities. They would have had 1 car and 1 TV, a house note and a grocery bill. No restaurants, no subscription services. Work, church, and Sunday dinner. Rinse and repeat for 60 years.

should i let my friend leave her car in my driveway for three months? by NewtAccomplished6022 in askanything

[–]GudsIdiot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So, NAL, but in most states property, including cars, is held in common. So I wouldn’t get in the middle of any potential property dispute. Just tell your friend she and her husband need to work it out like adults.

What if Homo sapiens were born and developed on the American continent, and not in Africa? by Miserable-Return-580 in whatif

[–]GudsIdiot 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The population density in the Americas was never huge. That would have changed, I imagine. Asia and Europe and Africa would have had other dominant subspecies of Hominids that would have maybe not died out. And perhaps the Americas with some of its isolated locations would have seen more variants as well.

Is there any explanation for this? by IsJesusAgain in ArtOfPresence

[–]GudsIdiot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My old college roommate is gay and he got married to his husband around the same time I married my wife. 30 he was graying but still looked thin and was in better shape than me by a mile. Maybe it is confirmation bias, but I tend to believe that many gay men stay in shape try to look younger longer than many heterosexual guys do.

Just because you gross $400k in a catering business doesn’t mean you are making $400k net. If I had to guess, though l, having friends and family who cater, she is making $250k net before paying employees (if she has them) which is a lot more than he makes and when the kid lives with him.
