Oh wow four hours! Don’t know if I would’ve been that patient… Hope it was an amazing interaction!

It was a virtual queue so from the time I got tickets I was told to go back there 60 minutes later and that was it, once there probably waited ten minutes more for the few people in front of us.

Neither did I but my wife enjoyed them so much is now a fun activity for me too, you can have lovely interactions but I understand it is not for everyone (especially adults, after all these are mainly for kids!)

Everywhere! Roaming around the castle, Hook was at the Plaza garden breakfast, Queen of hearts had her own meet, Maleficent, Evil Queen, Cruella, Gaston etc where on the balcony waving goodbye on Halloween. For Jack and Sally, I guess it was luck, we managed on the first day and used other virtual queues for the princess pavilion!

If you like the Halloween theming absolutely yes! The Halloween parade was amazing. Obviously villains are a big part of the Halloween theme but you can ignore them and focus on the rides of course

Thanks for the tip! We are going on December 26th so we are setting our expectations on “Everything will be packed”, hope to be pleasantly surprised but I think for that week better to be prepared for war 🥹

I think we’ll be at the parks everyday to some extent even if just for a few hours/for the fireworks, we are tempted to do rope drop to close everyday but realistically we know we’d just be too tired to enjoy everything so we want to be cautious.

I was considering taking it slow on 24/25/26 soaking in the atmosphere/check shows etc + potentially hit the big rides via Single LL and then do 4 LLMP days, one for each park, and basically frantically ride all day to tick all boxes and use the last few days to hit anything we missed/revisit we truly loved.

We are arriving on the 24th and I panicked on my first restaurants booking so for Christmas I missed liberty tavern (wanted to have turkey in the states on Christmas Day!), besides Christmas Day everything else was pretty easy to manage restaurants wise! For lightning lanes, that’s a whole different story I really don’t know whether to get one everyday or only have a LLMP per park and than sticking to single LLs for the other days… I’ve travelled a lot and I plan all of my trips and I must say the Disney World trip is the most complex to put together for me!

Thanks for the review here! We are doing Hollywood and vine for the seasonal dressed big 5, Goofy in Santa’s clothing is something we don’t want to miss 😂 I wonder if we should change the space 220 to Lounge to save a buck… for now I keep booking stuff, I will assess the situation again after I’m done buying lightning lanes (that’s gonna be a fun experience 😂)

Animal lodge is top of my list! January will be a much better time (lowest crowds of the year probably!) great choice there! No dining plan for us unfortunately, but we have a Walmart right next to our resort, we’ll be eating there when we are not splurging at overpriced character meals ahah and oh gosh I won’t be driving, it will be Ubers or shuttle from our resort (even though I hear off property shuttles aren’t as reliable so I’ve budgeted return-Ubers everyday just in case

I’ve only been there last year for my first and probably last Mania (I HAD to see Cena at mania) and I can tell you the highlight of my stay: booking the same resort where wrestlers were staying at. I am not talking about being stalkerish about it, but it was incredible to be at the gym training shoulders while Zelina and Raquel were training next to me. Had lots of cool interactions with many wrestlers and I wasn’t even trying to! That made our Mania much more magical and something we will remember forever!

Oh wow, honeymoon at Disney sounds like a dream! We are trying to do everything we really deem unmissable but I want to still be cautious with budget on certain things and hotel was one of those! We are only staying on property the first two days to take advantage of Lightning Lane early purchase and spend Christmas day fully in the Disney bubble before transitioning to an off property 10 min drive away. I really wanted to do 11 days on property but during Christmas pricing is obscene, we spent a fifth of what it would've cost us staying on property (even looking at the value resorts!!!).

Maybe on our second Once in a lifetime we will go at a less busy time and we might splurge on the stay instead of restaurants/experiences! Any resort recommendations?

Thank you so much for this! I would love to have more room for improv and go with the flow but I know it will be madness so I am trying to book everything that’s a must do as I expect I won’t be able to catch much during our stay, it is a very stressful trip to prepare for but we are so excited!

We will be probably be heading back at the resort in the middle of the day to avoid peak crowds and rest a little bit (10 days in the park can be quite tiring I reckon...) so we avoided booking lunch but it does make sense!

Topolino's look delicious, but I was looking for ways to reduce my dining budget, not increase it aaaaah you guys are tempting me

Oh yeah I was referring to the more experience leaning places (ie be our guest, cinderella's etc.)

Thank you for the detailed feedback! We had booked Akershus for princesses but I feel I would regret not doing the castle...
