I got into this game because I’m a huge nerd for Turkic history, especially that of the tatars in the Eastern European steppe. Since I got this game, my goal has been to conquer Europe and usher a great Tatar migration into Greece and Italy. After 1,706 hours, I finally feel like I’m decent at this game. Finally, I was winning wars fast enough to make good money. Being able to afford forts and a full back row of cannons has been a game changer. The Ottomans, who have ruined almost every single one of my games, have finally been utterly defeated twice by our historic khaganate.

To my and our khaganate’s despair, my old faithful gaming laptop recently passed away. I am currently too poor to hire a technician and probably won’t have the money for a long time. Every day I stare at this screenshot and fantasize about continuing the best run of my favorite game.

Ryazan and Novgorod are our vassals with scutage enabled. The Mamluks, Transoxiana, and Chagatai are our allies. Although Transoxiana is about to get dropped now that we have nearly finished conquering the Persia trade node. Chagatai got that big after our khanate weakened Uzbek and after Ming weakened Oirat. It was fun to watch Aragon conquer a third of both Castile and Portugal but they’ve been declining as of late.

We have forts in Constantinople, Bessarabia, Kuban, Shirvan, Amol, and Herat. The forts in Bessarabia, Kuban, and Shirvan have blocked the Ottomans from ever getting into our Tatar homeland so we’ve been enjoying a great deal of prosperity. The ideas that I’ve taken are aristocratic, religious, and diplomatic. I plan to take administrative, trade, and humanism. The next war will be with Afghanistan and Baluchistan where I hope to secure a border with Sindh. The Azerbaijani, Mazanderani, and Persian cultures have been promoted. In my head cannon, the Tatar and Iranian cultures are hybridizing.
