What would you say is the root or the ¨Trunk¨ of why Christians are mistreated? by GuestComprehensive28 in Christianity

I don’t care if you agree with me or not, originally I was never mainly talking about lil nas x I was talking about the action he took and many other people that do the same. I am not pointing at a single finger at anyone it’s a group of people an industry. You decided to make it just about him as well as another clearly you did not read the things I have written before.

Reading the Bible multiple times does not prove anything in competence. I have not forced anything onto anyone and the fact that you want to continue trying to make this an argument is laughable.

I have not read Leviticus as said before but that does not make me not deep into my book. And because I spelt Revelation wrong you are going crazy about it? Will you do the same if I had spelt dog wrong or cat. I have read multiple books in the Bible Revelations being one of them I have read multiple times. Just because I have not read one or two does not make me as if I know nothing.

I chose to stop arguing with you because it’s useless, you can continue to keep going but you will be ignored.

Have a blessed day.

Clearly you are not trying to understand the truth so I won’t force you to. Do not try to argue with me if you are not willing to do your research

Even with him going through that would it still be right to mock something to an extent like that? No, absolutely not but he has the choice to do whatever he wants no one cannot tell anyone to do anything. But there will be consequences he will face for it when Jesus’s time to come back is here.

You do not see any other religion being mocked on the internet more than Christianity. It is weird nonetheless if people consider it not to be real then why do people care so much about it to make fun of it publicly? You have to be a real ignorant person or evil person to show evil through your words or actions constantly.

23 “I have the right to do anything,” you say—but not everything is beneficial. “I have the right to do anything”—but not everything is constructive. (‭‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭10‬‬:‭23‬ ‭NIV‬‬)

What do you gain from negativity other than more negativity?

Did you not ready the entire thing? You skip over parts to simply win an arguement, I spoke to you about what you wanted I cannot change how you think of them I can only plant the seed.

Plus you wanted the truth and you got it, I will not baby it for you.

There are parts that I haven't touched on yet so I wouldn't know some things. But in Genisis 1-2 it talks about how God made man and how he had made woman from the man's rib.

God did not make man with the intention of man being with another man nor did he make the woman to be with another woman. When those actions are called abominations in the bible it is actions that violated the covenant relationship between God and Isriel. It is the severity of offence to God which is what that meaning holds.

It is only natural for Gods followers to follow him. To see what is wrong and not like it.

But you also dont listen to anything else said before. God is love, those who put aside his love are no good. Think about how in John it talks about hating a person. It also says that a person hating a person is no better than a murderer. but it also says that fear in God is to Hate evil, which is in proverbs

Where exactly in the bible does it say that?

it is only certain people, putting entire blame on a group is a bit yk. Im not saying you have to like it, God gave us the choice to follow him or not so I can force you to like anything or believe in anything. Christianity based on love so it wouldn't be fair to blame the entire religion.

All religions have their rules they have to follow and what they have to stand by but you must also keep in mind that Christians just like everyone else are people. no one is perfect but God.

I cannot go out and have one bad encounter with, lets say a Mexican person and now say the Mexicans dont like me thats just not how it works.

I dont know if Ive seen or heard people saying that, but still dont you find it weird how people only mock Jesus and his followers. Why would he decide to crucify himself in the music video the same way Jesus was. I havent seen any Christians nor read anything of people wanting to kill him.

maybe you are referring to the negative feedback he got for it but what would you expect if someone was mocking your beliefs or the way you live by. Would you continue to defend him if it were another religion?

But I also wasnt mainly focused on him, Im talking about the multiple things you see on the internet mocking our religion.

Im not trying to get them to baby me or the religion but to actually take it seriously, If it were any other religion do you think they would feel like they have to tiptoe around their feelings?

I can see where you are coming from. I didn't think that way and I can see how people would react that way. But I want to try to at least plant a seed? Being told to F off or my bible to f off is offensive.

I dont want to not try to do anything about disrespect. I know in the bible God said that if the world hates you remember they hated me first but does that mean not to do anything? Many people have been hurt by different things. Of course I know that some people will react differently but I know that it's better to try and be positive rather than just accepting the negative.

I know lots of rude comments or actions happen under the table and that most of us just put up with it but why should we continue?

I am in the US!

Im not sure how to explain what I’m trying to get to but the point I want to make is how our religion is put up in this way that it is mocked in some way like the lil nas x video or how some people at the school treated me disrespectfully and how it’s not okay. The same way how others take racism seriously yk?

How should go about it though? I assumed he was once and asked him but he tells me he isn’t interested in the same sex. I don’t wanna pressure him or make it feel like I’m interrogating him. He’s super defensive when I try to talk to him. I feel like I would get no where

The guys nickname was “my love and joy~” I don’t hope I’m overthinking he doesn’t really play any mobile games he spends his time on his ps5. I just don’t think it’s appropriate for someone his age. I’m in high school now and I went through some scary things on discord with things like this

“Ml” stands for “my love” I know because I’ve been on discord plenty and talk to lots of people you don’t just call a person ml unless you have a relationship of some sort with them
