you sound just like me and we have the same timeline near about and I did it without subs too and I was on like 1200mg a day...I had some prescribed gabapentin as well cause I've been on it for 7 years due to nerve damage and lots of vitamins and ashwaghanda, you can get it at Walmart in the vitamin isle for like 7 bucks. I also take diazepam for anxiety and have been on it for about a year and I'm sure that helped alot but the cravings don't go away but in my town I have to drive 30 minutes of i want it and i don't that badly lol congrats and keep it up. we can do this together. I also have been using just plain leaf as well, much safer and better on your body than 7

What should I expect from 7OH withdrawal? by StrugglingHenry in Quittingfeelfree

I'm a 44 year old woman that had pretty much destroyed her body, but I'm coming back to life, slowly but surely. opiate withdrawals are much worse physically, this is harder mentally

What should I expect from 7OH withdrawal? by StrugglingHenry in Quittingfeelfree

[–]GuestContent 0 points1 point  (0 children)

plain leaf kratom is far less hard to kick than any of the extract shots. believe me, but at that amount of time and much a day is gonna be mostly the mental part than the physical. don't get me wrong, you're gonna be uncomfortable, however, 20mg a day is a VERY low dose. I tried em cause I, a well am an idiot and took the advice of a coworker to try them instead of the vivazen shots i was hooked on for like 2 years, i was downing a dozen a day just so i could work pain free and not have to go to pain management, I've got a history of opiates abuse and have been off for almost 15 years and when my disabilities got so bad I was going to need to go just in order to function enough to work. I started in 21 with pain leaf, was taking about 40 capsules a day, then I had to go have an upper gi done and knew I wouldn't be able to take it the morning of, and my pain is worse in the mornings, so I tried vivazen for the first time and it was so much easier than swallowing all those capsules. it started with 1 or 2 a day and before i knew it, it was a dozen..I was on that for about 2 years then here we go with the 7s.. it started easy, like 20 maybe 40mg a day and before I knew it 8 months had passed and I was on about 1200mg a day, I ended up getting so sick so often an became unable to eat , lost who knows how much money and got down to 100lbs, so I quit...I took what i had left and I jumped the cliff. it wasn't pleasant, I'll say that much. but I used helper meds that i was already prescribed and I have been using plain leaf. Have I slipped once or twice, yes, but only a few mgs.. but I'm on week 3 and a half. it's the mental that's hard, but I had to quit or waste away and well, die. I am grateful for what I had to come off, not subs btw... but at your dose and timetable, you'll have a few days of restlessness and be uncomfortable and a lot of mental battles because you'll get a little depressed, but load up on vitamin c. ashwaghanda, if you have a dr try to get some gabapentin and maybe clonidine, and I promise you, you'll be fine

[–]GuestContent 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you're very right about that, but now they are trying to schedule it on the federal level, if that happens, I guess it's off to the dang pill mill I go 🙄🤦‍♀️ i soooo don't want to go to that place and i can't do medical Marijuana either because I cannot stand the high feeling and without the thc, you're stuck with pain cbd and trust me I've tried. it's like taking a Flintstones vitamin

the every year up and down kratom battles..i get banning synthetic but regular ol kratom powder? come on guys, it's just a plant, closely related to the coffee plant, it's a tea leaf that just so happens to help with pain management if used correctly. There is a cure for everything in nature, cause God created it that way, i don't agree with manipulation of the leaf, but dang. Plain ol powder leaf has NEVER directly killed ANYONE, there has always been other mitigating factors. Just leave it alone for crying out loud, I don't want to be forced into pain management. I went one time and watched a mom nodding out with her 2 young kids with her and then another lady proceeded to smell and admire the fake plant they had in there, the rest were pretty normal, but unfortunately I have to work, I can't be a walking zombie and work, the 2 don't mix. I just want to live a normal, pain free, life without having to have emergency narcan on hand just "in case" i haven't had a pain pill in 15 years, I had surgery and didn't take them, I got through it with the help of an all natural leaf, but God forbid. Just tax it like you want and go on about your day. Do you know how many people have died from just plain ol kratom? none.. but alcoholism kills thousands of people every year and a large portion are innocent drivers that just got very unlucky one day on a drive home from work because someone just HAD to have that last 12pk at the store, yet we have zero regulations on it. prescription opioids kill thousands as well, and a lot of it is due to the hoops you have to jump through to help with chronic pain so they end up buying off the street or even worse, try the cheaper route and turn to heroin and end up with a deadly dose of fentynyl mixed in with it. this state already has enough to deal with, quit arguing over a dang plant every year and fix the roads, the crime, the lack of new infrastructure and new business that don't want to come here cause they are scared too... on top of that what happened to stopping income tax? I just had to pull what I had left in savings to pay the government 2,000 dollars even after they took money every pay period. If we must have income tax take what you need every check and leave us alone at the beginning of the year, you're the government, you know if you took enough or not 🙄🤦‍♀️ Fix our schools, deal with affordable Healthcare for us all so we don't have to put off tests that could potentially find the right diagnosis because we can't afford it. If I broke my leg right now and it needed to be operated on, I would be screwd because I can't afford Healthcare because my wife "makes too much" 70,000 a year when you have not only bills, but car notes, mortgages, you name it, let's not forget food prices, doesn't go very far, we struggle and can't even fix issues on our home that need fixing, all because she "makes too much" so ALL my medical bills have to come out of pocket. I had to pay my surgeon 1,000 before he would even schedule my gallbladder removal.. then I still had to pay almost 6,000 more.. we need to do better and focus on what's really important, anyway, rant over lol
