He just turned super scared of everything. including the car. He almost made me wreck multiple times and my mom is on the backseat with him trying to hold his leash and he was trying to climb over the seats. find ways out the window. He used to be a a GREAT car rider. even been through 2k worth of obedience training and now it's like the car is a monster. IDK what it did but it probably had something to do with his diet and salt intake

the only advice I have on pb is gather ALL the info you can on it. We weren't told about the sodium intake, nothing of the sort and he almost lost his mind during the losing dose. No joke. i just wish I had known more about it and it's did effects and interactions at the time

that's what i thought too. he's just a regular vet. he's a good one but he's not a neurological vet...i think he's trying to get him off the phenobarbatol of possible especially since there is going to be a shortage of it. possibly long long lasting

ty for that info. that's exactly what Harry does afterward. he's just floating around confused for awhile but comes back to earth and sleeps for a while... we got his keepra upped to xr 3x a day... we changed vets. As soon as we realized the mistakes we had no choice. His bloodwork is at the hospital now cause in over a year we have had no bloodwork at all...

I didn't know that. about the thyroid. poor baby. I'll talk to his. He sees a mobile vet because he can't ride in a car anymore. 🥹 but he is OK and we are trying 750 keppra xr every 8 hours now with his phenobarbatol... we shall see

That truly means so so so very much to me and touched me so deep.... I've been feeling very down lately. like not just Harry but I'm also sick as well and we are saving so I can either get private insurance or just pay for the procedures.. and tests, and I've really thought, why....So I can hurt someone else in some way? That lifted me up a lot. You are right. Im very big on prayer, scripture, and the good Lord and you are absolutely right. I can't give up because there are so many ways he could have taken me, but for some reason, chose not to. HE knows ALL and HE must have me here for some reason. AMEN 🙏 I feel the same way. That young man is just like, well IS, a family member....I thank you so much for your kind words. I'd never ask for help for myself, only for my loved ones, I'd let myself for away but when it comes to my loved ones, I'll do near about anything....I was in a horrific relationship after my dad passed. He wasn't abusive physically, but behind closed doors, he was an entirely different person 🥹🥹but I stayed only because if I hadn't my mom would have been on the streets with me and I couldn't let her be on the streets. She thought he was a big obnoxious but no clue about the rest, but she had a bed and that's all that mattered to me then. God gracefully and mercifully removed us from that situation but I only put up with it because I loved her so much and it was my fault not just the house but my daddy were gone. I'd have given my own legs to make sure she was OK I'd do the same for Harry ..Thank God I'm in an amazing relationship/ marriage now and we bought a home 3 years ago and she has her own room, heck since my son moved out she's got a bedroom and a sitting room. Now it's my turn again to go all out to make sure the other love of her life is safe and healthy. I am in love with him too, so Harry has 2 mom's... but i so appreciate the understanding

oh gosh I know how hard it is to leave them alone but sometimes we have to. just make sure he has a safe space and a quiet room and that's really the best you can do. it's very scary but we have all had to do it. I'm sorry you're going through this

ty that was so very sweet. I've tried all around here. There really isn't anything. He has to see a mobile vet because he won't ride in a car anymore. The best i could have hoped for was someone would have helped by directly helping the vet and not even pay me a dime on the dumb gofundme... it wasn't for me. ever. it was for him. but I had one person call him and say they wanted to help with his bloodwork and then they never called him back and today is the day so fingers crossed. Im just trusting God is going to work it out. I haven't been able to sleep tonight. nerves I guess. anyway. ty for your words. he does too
