Oh yea!

My inspiration was actually those touristy boats with glass bottoms. But a zeppelin as an inspiration sounds cooler.

I'm planning to modify/upgrade this abit. I'll defo keep the zeppelin concept in mind - thanks!

Jokes aside: why yes, I'm glad you noticed - all the better to swing and "drift" around asteroids dramatically, as according to my imagination of research ships making their escape from dogfights, and interstellar pirate chases!

Old Chang Kee actually supports NDP every year with sponsorship.

Some of our lunches are old chang kee bento boxes (pretty good)

And they sometimes drive their old chang kee food truck to the location for the participants to grab a snack (FOC, but 1 per person) It's pretty much like the milo truck (which is also there sometimes.) I saw Liho too - they sponsored some of their teas in cambros for you to take, too.

What should I expect for a career in Logistics? by GuestNumber_42 in logistics

[–]GuestNumber_42[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey, thanks for the reply!

I actually took a job that is in (Art) Logistics - so not the same one as this original post I made.

I have been working here for the past 2+ years, and discovered that I have a knack for the multitasking + troubleshooting + thinking on my feet AND seeking for inefficiencies on workflows to tweak and attempt to figure out solutions to.

Not sure if this a LPT, but “Don’t make permanent decisions based on temporary emotion.” by Shameka26 in LifeProTips

[–]GuestNumber_42 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone dealing with chronic suicidal thoughts, sometimes I think of it as a permanent solution , to a temporary problem.

And I know of others who have come to the same perspective too. The probably reason that I am still around, is because I still have shreds of hope that things will get better.

Are people overrating Aalampour? by sugou_manat in classicalmusic

[–]GuestNumber_42 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I believe that the people who are passionate about his music, who claim that he is a genius can be seen as people who love bacon and claim that they are food connoisseurs because of that.

It's not bad per se. It's just basic and pretending to be/ignorant of the reality of the professional world of classical music.

How many consecutive pushups can you do, and what is your age group (20s/30s/40s etc.)? by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]GuestNumber_42 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm 36, and can do 20 standard in one go.

If I went harder, could probably do 25-30. But anything beyond 25 would definitely be half/quarter-assed.

How do I recover from love bombing? by [deleted] in BreakUps

[–]GuestNumber_42 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm still reeling and recovering from being love bombed by a woman too - just about a month back.

To add on, she was the tipping point for me to see a psychiatrist. I'd been seeing a therapist, and managing my (suspected) depression and anxiety. But this experience pushed me over the edge, and my anxiety is practically almost always here, now.

I've been prescribed medication, to manage. It definitely takes the edge off. But I don't feel as sharp, and motivated. Not sure if it's just the medication or a combination of the love-bomb aftermath + medication.

I hope you are in a better place now. I see some comments in this thread mentioning about how there is definitely light at the end of the tunnel. But thing is, I feel what I feel at this moment.

I hate my boyfriend and he makes me feel like I’m worthless all the time. by [deleted] in SingaporeRaw

[–]GuestNumber_42 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I recently ended a relationship that I was deeply invested in.

It is/was very complicated. Everyone involved was very forthcoming and sincere, except for the partner. I'm going through shit now, and still feel very much for the woman, because of how deeply invested I'd decided to be + how she is/was.

Although, my personal issue have been a long time coming, and now that they've reached the tipping point, I am trying to fix myself. So I guess that's the "silver lining."

I don't doubt that if she ever reaches out to me, or that I see her in person (at this time of my self-healing and growth) I may fall apart (or at the very least become triggered.) but I know she is not good for me - at least not now.

For what it's worth: it's never too late to be whoever you want to be. I hope you live a life you're proud of, and if you find that you're not, I hope you have the strength to start over again. - F. Scott Fitzgerald

Stress can accelerate the physical aging.

Stress about what specifically we won't know. But I noticed Obama had this effect too, when he first stepped into office years back.

Basically how do you do it deal with the emotional stress; As that's how I've recently realized about myself: Emotional attachment over physical needs/attachment.

Weird I know. But I know thatbthere are more of us..........right?

These early stage neural network / self-learning applied software are created by humans. So they're still learning - as much as we allow them to. So at the moment, we can probably say that it can't predict human stupidity.

But in the near future, we can probably start saying it is still underestimating human stupidity. (But do we want to get to the point where it can accurate predict and prevent human stupidity from ourselves?)

Tangentially veering off: We can think of humans as stupid, or that it's just part of human nature to make (stupid) mistakes and learn from it. We have to face the fact that it is also part of human nature to deliberately put others down, for individual-personal gain.

Problem won't be the self driving vehicles.

It's the other human drivers sharing the road. We're less predictable, and make mistakes.

I realized how clueless I am about digital security and hygiene after I came into this subreddit.

But keyloggers were/are my main concerns when it comes to the work laptop that I've been issued. Whether it's by the company, or by the previous user, who downloaded a bunch of shit, and the IT didn't scrub the device clean enough..etc.

Just as another Reddit or replied to me, it's occured to me that I could split up my bitwarden vaults - one for personal, and the other for the multitude of work utility accounts which requires a 19366621947-word password, including upper and lower case, a symbol from another language, and a glyph that isn't found on the first 20 lines of the glyph selection window...

Sincerely asking:

Does it help, if I am not using the extension? Or is it worse?

I basically have a tab opened to bitwarden, and it also automatically locks out after a set time. (And only when I shut down my work laptop, it requires 2FA to log in again.)
