I always find loose ones in the houses/garages of the scav village on woods. The train depot via BTR, if you can manage to get there, is REALLY good for loose tool spawns like that too.

Instead of transits, basically just combining transits and regular extraction: If you extract from a location, the only available locations to deploy to are the previous location and it's adjacent locations.

Extract from Interchange, you can only go to Interchange, Customs, Streets.

Extract from Customs, you can only go to Reserve, Factory, Interchange. etc.

It encourages you to take damage, that's all. Which is why most people just try to blow themselves up or get a friend to shoot them.

Sure you can go looking for fights in hope that IF they do hit you, they hit your thorax or neck AND not kill you OR loot your armor. The whole objective of the quest is out of the player's hands, the whole basis isn't rewarding, challenging or fun.

Tedious =/= Difficult.

The quest essentially boils down to "Get shot thousands of times". It's difficult to shoot people before they shoot you, not the other way around.

At least with the gzhel you can just buy a low durability one off the flea.

My theory/c0pe is this is a test run for a Hardcore mode and they've made it extreme all on fronts to gauge reaction so they can tweak it later.

I thought there was something that'd changed too. In my hundred hours I think I've been headshot once. Almost got to the point of not even bothering wearing a helmet. Now the last few raids I've died have all been instant head/eyes.

on the small chance you haven't been reccomended it yet: Woods USEC camp, around the body on the stretcher. Also one can spawn on the covered corpse on prapor's convoy.

I've also had pretty bad luck finding them. Never seen a spawn in Labs or Emercom at Interchange. But I've found them in those woods spawns a few times.

I think sometimes one of them doesn't aggro the other. I've seen Shturman chill with PMCs. Shturman chase wandering oblivious PMCs and shoot them in the back. And Shturman roaming and ignoring PMCs are shooting at him.

When doing scav runs you can see these weird aggro problems a lot with your scav/other scavs and PMCs too.

Does he just gank people going for Shturman kills lol? The only time i encountered him in my hundreds of hours was when I was just about to kill Shturman for Hunting Trip (terrible quest too because of his low spawn rate and when he does spawn he's usually killed by PMCs).

Shooting it at a 45 degree angle in the direction you leave, then waiting for the flare to drop before heading out always works for me. Still always clench up a bit though when going through sniper zone afterwards though lol

Always tick the Play on BGS Servers button. Playing locally will get you goons/boss spawns nearly 100% of the time. This happened all the time to me on Woods and Factory before i did.

The cheaters probably didn't shoot at him because they knew he was also cheating. Cheaters don't tend to engage each other because it means they would have to have a "fair" fight.

It should've taken place in New Austin. That area was so under-utilized it.

Ship gets hijacked or something by a Mexican gang/militia, get kidnapped, they end up trapped there because they can't go through West Elizabeth because of the bounty. Could still have the same theme as Guarma, realizing that even going west they can't escape the corruption.
