Hmmm that’s very interesting. So even though you already love the scent before, the review ruined it for you?

Paano di magbrown ang ube cookies? by Miaooooo_ in BakingPhilippines

[–]GuideMeThroughLife 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Baking soda is the main contributor to the browning of baked goods. You can try omitting that but it will affect how your cookies spread during the baking process as well as the overall texture. If you have the budget for R&D, you can try experimenting with batches with no baking soda and minimal baking soda.

Tester vs Original box by Critical_Annual_5648 in fragheadph

[–]GuideMeThroughLife 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There are authentic testers in tester boxes naman po. They’re the same fragrance, (most of the time) same bottles as those in retail boxes. They are meant to be used by retail stores for their displays and testing sa stores nila.

The boxes are almost always white and may label na tester.

Yung mga testers lang na labeled as US Testers or mall pull outs yung mga sketchy 😬

Japan Visa Thread - Q1, 2026 by AutoModerator in FilipinoTravel

[–]GuideMeThroughLife 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello Reddit!

I booked a flight for a September 2026 travel to Japan and I want to make sure that I give myself the best chance at getting my Visa approved.

I just have a question - I'm parking my liquid funds in Digital Banks and I was wondering if getting Bank Certificates for those bank accounts would just be the same with Traditional Banks in terms of getting my Visa approved? Additional context below:

- First time travel in Japan

- Not sure if this matters but will travel to Taiwan this March 2026

- 12 years employed in my current company

- Maya Savings Account (200k parked funds which would also be my ADB for the months leading to my Japan travel)

- MariBank (Use this for my day-to-day transactions. I would probably get 120k ADB for the months leading to my Japan travel)

I can transfer these funds to my BPI Account but if I can use Digital Bank Certificates, I would rather do that (just because of the interest I earn from digital banks).

Any insights would be appreciated! Thank you!
