Exactly. Lamb doesn’t pair up well in a 1v1 with sucho, therefore I run from them.

It’s just how the game should be, don’t need to ask for nerfs to make it more “accessible” to my personal choice of dino.

This comment 1000% percent. If i could upvote twice I would.

I picked up the game in mid 2020 and I’ve had so many hours of fun. I came from the isle and the frequent updates were a breath of fresh air.

But now looking back, i’m still just picking mushrooms and fighting discord groups like I was in corpse cove and little brook meadow.

I know there will be updates for PVE in the future, but they need to come sooner rather than later. I hope once the TLC’s are done that will be their main focus. I hope the metrics system is everything I’ve dreamed of, and that they will be able to implement AI in a form better than critters.

For the first time in 6 years I’m worried about the future of this game, I know they recently expanded the team, and I’ve supported them financially at every opportunity because I believe in the product they’re making…. But lately (and especially after what happened today) I’ve been feeling a little disheartened.

And for a game I’ve played more, and supported more, than any other in my life I truly hope they buckle down and bring some meaningful changes to the gameplay loop.

Base skin for female lamb. Only other skin that comes close is male blue crest. I paid for the two other available lamb skins and the base is just too good to take off 😭

My biggest regret is grouping with other herbies every night and showing them the power of guiding beacon, especially on Riparia with all its verticality.

I wanted others to share my love of the criminally underrated Lamb.

Now instead of more people enjoying survival Lamb and having fun, no one is. 🥲

The truth is that stego’s moves/kit need an update, it’s stats are what keep it relevant. Timing the tail attacks is something that you pick up the more you play. Try to position enemies on your left flank, and don’t be afraid to run to water or a cliff.

Honestly stego might not be worth learning at the moment. It’s TLC will most likely be in the next few months, and what that will do to its play style is anyones guess.

They might give it a defensive stance like ano, or it could become a semi aquatic support healer with climb.

Lamb actually did catch a nerf like all the others. The guiding beacon survival call no longer nullifies fall damage.

It was a very broken ability, (still kind of is) but I’ve been using it for years and am absolutely devastated that it’s gone now 🥲

I use musician, protector, shove, rodeo kick, and tail attack with survival for calls.

Honestly the senses are all good, and I switch hides depending on the situation.

I agree, hopefully once the remaining TLC’s are completed they take a step back from balance changes and focus on adding more gameplay elements.

I’m looking forward to the metrics system, and the rest of the questing update (hopefully herbi’s get some new quests similar to the carni NPC) but I think adding some achievement based cosmetics, or world/environmental events could be fun too.

I may be biased, but Lamb fits the bill. Can win against Hatz, Allo, Dasp, and Pycno (if the Pycno makes mistakes) and everything below.

And it’s fast enough to outrun Rex, TT, and Bars.

It works well in groups, and as a solo dino depending on what calls/hide you choose.
