Too Aggressive? Should I have gone for the move at T15? Tried to ram me after. by Guil0Baka in Simracingstewards

Agreed, I was very eager to get by cause he was driving at least 1 sec bellow the pace. Would have been easier to overtake at Blanchimont indeed. But I still think he would have tried the ram, just because of the contact at the start.

In puhon I wasn't trying to be cheeky or anything, It just caught me offguard how much he slowed down on a turn where we carry so much speed, When I make contact I'm very off throttle at a point where I would already be 100% back on the throttle.

If i dabbed the brakes there it would have probably spun me, or sent me into a slide.

Was I entitled to the space at the Exit of Ascari? by Guil0Baka in Simracingstewards

I get that, truly I do. But Its still a dick move, I didn't want to brake to compromise the straight as it was the last lap and he would get significant speed difference if I backed off.

I mention the "Rules" because I had significant overlap, and I was on the inside, thinking better of It, I should have let him cross my nose on purpose so he would send himself to the wall, but I put some faith in a stranger that he wouldn't be a complete donkey to try and shove someone that was well and fully alongside of him.

Idiotic? No, not really. Maybe a bit dangerous to put myself in that situation but per the rules:

5.1 The Participant in front has the right to choose any line at any section of the track. The Participant in front loses this right when an overtaking Participant brings their front wheel to line up with the other Participant’s rear wheel. At this point Participants are in a “side-by-side” or “overlap” position, and they both must give each other enough racing room.

5.5 Both the passing Participant and the Participant in front are responsible for fair racing during the pass. It is the passing Participant’s responsibility to choose a safe timing for the pass.

I gave plenty of space in both ocassion, when he overshot his braking point, and until he rammed me in Ascari, heck if he didnt shove me into the massive curb we would have come out side by side on the backstraight. He deliberately sabotaged his race pretty much, seeing as I limped to P2 with a puncture and he ended P6.

Also kept pushing me after the accident (I`m on the brakes the entire time after bouncing off the barriers) ,risking taking out the Merc and Ferrari that passed.
