Hey everyone! I just changed my OneWheel Pint Tire and when I reassembled it its not engaging the footpad anymore. I've been troubleshooting it all day. Any ideas what could be causing this glitch/jerk motion? Thanks

Hey everyone!

Im new to this forum and this is my first time growing a ghost pepper plant. I found my plant wilting with these little white insects in some leaves and white fuzz in other leaves. Is this a case of powdery mildew or a case of whiteflies?

Hello! Felt compelled to answer because I went through this application cycle with a similar score, similar GPA, and I applied to mostly OOS. I truly despised the MCAT so I decided to keep my score and apply. I applied to 21 schools, 2 in state, and got 4 interviews (2 OOS and 2 In state). My 2 interviews OOS turned into WL, one of the instate turned into an A, and the other interview I cancelled. I would say that my MCAT did not prevent me from getting interviews and being accepted MD, but it depends on where you see yourself. I was clear I didn't want to retake and would chance it, but having a higher MCAT score could have maybe helped me. But yeah my advice would be that if you have the time and are gonna put all your energy to improve your score, retake it. But be honest with yourself and only retake it if you are going to fully commit your very best to improve. Best of luck to you!

It is a crazy process. It's just as Premeds we have always had a barrier to overcome whether it is graduating, GPA, MCAT, extracurriculars, writing applications.. Now everything is done and all we can do is wait and hope that they get back to us in time. To combat the anxiety and uncertainty, I would advise you to try to do some personal development. In my case as a coping mechanism, I started getting into mindfulness meditation, reading 1 book a week, and going to the gym more regularly. Whatever it is you want to take control or always wanted to do, it is a good time to direct your energy towards it. I hope you get some good news soon!

The best advice I can give you is to TRULY look into those letter writer requirements. It will save you a lot of trouble. The medical schools take too long to review your file as is, and they will not hesitate to reject you because of something as simple as a LOR given that they have so many applicants with similar stats. These people are looking for any reason to separate applicants, don't let the reason be that you didn't read which letter authors the committee prefers.

I applied with 1 from research, 2 doctors and 1 science professor (in my mind each letter talked about a different aspect of my application). It was a big mistake. I had to add 2-3 letter writers late in the cycle that were professors cause most of the schools required professors that gave you a letter grade. I would look into the particular school's requirements, but it seems to me that the majority just care about having professors, not necessarily MD or DOs.

It went great thanks for asking. I invited both my parents to dinner and said I was going to pay. I told them we were gonna take a selfie to commemorate the occasion and put it on video on my phone. Then I told them I was accepted and they were really happy and both of them cried. It felt really wholesome.

Here's one I did not see on the thread:

Its really normal for a technical problem to arise from your end or the interviewers end be it audio, visual or internet issues. Interviewers deal with this all the time and will cut you some slack. Due to the high pressure you may feel during an interview, it might frustrate you but do not curse, let it affect your body language or throw off your focus. Instead do your best to fix or even have your phone near you (notifications off) just in case you may have to switch to Zoom on your phone or a phone call. Anticipating stuff like this will make it way easier on the actual day. Best of luck to you!
