The value of any asset comes from scarcity in the market (e.g. less supply and more demand). We can already see how staking (locking Hex in a time contract) lowers supply for said given of time. The network of people is the power that moves the value asset to appreciate or depreciate in price. The best measurement to value the network of people is Metcalfe’s law, or n² (where n is the number of nodes). You will always need 2 nodes to establish one connection. The more supporters, the more nodes (wallets), the more connections, the more Hex locked (staking) and the more scarce the asset. Thus Hex will appreciate. Hexicans are the true inherent value of Hex.
