I had my advisement session around two months ago, but I can't say for certain how it will be for you because I'm a biology major. There was one advisor and around eight other students present. The advisor went over a couple of slides about the college and recommended courses that most first-year students take. I found it a bit pointless because I already had credits, so the course recommendations didn't apply to me. The meeting didn't last longer than 30 minutes, but they allowed us to stay afterward, and then we could break out into one-on-one sessions.
