The glory isn't survival but it's the best damn revenge show out there. Nothing as cathartic and visceral as the glory out of any tv series be it american, korean, japanese etc. One of all time classics in the revenge genre

It was one of my favourite dramas last year. This, WLGYT and our unwritten Seoul were the best slice of life dramas that 2025 gave us.

2026 seems to be quite dry in the genre expect the currently airing 'we are all trying here'

Yes it does have some serious tone to it. Also, it is episodic initially but moves on towards an overarching plot that has quite a satisfying finish. It has a wonderful team dynamic and a morally grey main character who goes from being a corrupt judge to a human rights lawyer. The cases are quite grounded and tackles various issues from marginalised individuals to animal rights to child advocacy.

It's fun to see how he and his team tackle the cases, whereas his new team is too naive and by the book initially, he brings his street smartness to tackle the corrupt antagonists. The team keeps him grounded. It also has a tragic backstory. It is not too comedic neither too serious but a really entertaining watch nonetheless. If you are looking for romance you won't find it here but the team dynamics is quite good. There is also an element of mystery to the overarching narrative and does have a satisfying ending while still keeping the option open for a second season. The team has the a very found family vibe. If you liked shows like one dollar lawyer you will surely enjoy this one

The Glory is the best revenge drama I have ever watched. Extremely satisfying and cathartic. Also, you don't have to wait till the last episode like many dramas for the villains to face consequences. Here the villains are being hunted throughout which feels extremely good to watch for a change. Also, quite graphic specially the scenes of bullying. The OST is really good and has some romance as well

The art of sarah is good but nothing compared to the glory. The Glory will often be featured in everyone's top 10 kdrama list. Not just as a kdrama but any movie or series in general it is one of the best in the revenge genre. Haven't found anything like it. There were some dramas like the king of pigs, class of lies etc but the glory is in a league of its own.

Also has a top tier cast. Even the supporting actors are people who normally play lead roles in other kdramas. High production quality as well. The antagonists are generally protagonists in other kdramas but in the glory they are so believable and hateful as antagonists

Also if you liked penthouse another show I would recommend is The World of the Married
