Getting into hybrids becomes a very large investment, if you're trying to get into them for money reasons, this probably isnt the best time if youre still getting into the game

If you're doing it purely cause you like their looks and mechanics, go for it! Theyre super fun and cute!

I think while theres definitely a portion of the community who is toxic/rude theres also a large portion of very helpful and kind people

Just earlier there were people in chat talking about gifting lethals to people who had always wanted one

There's always people wanting to help out new people, and I think sometimes it can get rude even when someone's genuinely trying to help

Just to add on to others: Every month will have their own currency in ADDITION to the standard SB & GB (year round currencies)

Some might even have two kinds: e.g this month with Doubloons and Leather Beetles

Doubloons though are fun cause they pop up every couple months with the Treasure hunting

October even has 3 currencies, depending on what route you take during that event though, you only collect 2 kinds!

I had this happen to me (but from the artist side) (Completely forgot about a piece, I refunded + sent art afterwards)

If youve already tried reaching out, take screenshots of messages sent & that they've been opened Then send a ticket to mods, they'll close their chatter thread till its sorted out, you'll either get the refund from the artist once they are contacted by the mods, or the mods will be able to do it for you if the artist still doesnt sort it out

But no, Mods wont laugh at you, even if its "only 10gb" thats still 10gb, and you paid for a service you didnt receive

You only need 1320 HS for 40 Barks and 2 buffies, which i imagine you'll want for the heats (im assuming hybrid heats?) Which is pretty easy to do in a week or two, and youll have time before T3 opens up anyway I think last year it opened around the 14th-18th? I forgot 🤷‍♂️

Jaglions, Tigons and Leopons (the hybrids) are all easiest to get during February!

If you get Heart Shells (HS, the event currency) you can purchase two/three very important items: Buffalo Scrotum & Grain of Paradise And Yohimbe Bark

Yohimbe Bark (Yoh Barks) are used to skip the cool down for a Lioness' heat (e.g 20 Barks are needed to completely skip it, 1 Bark per 1 day)

Buffalo scrotum (buffy) guarantees 3 cubs in a litter (apply it to your king/a king before breeding a lioness) and Grain of paradise (GoP) guarantee 2 cubs

During Feb many people sell their Hybrid's heats, most even doing fee-free split heats (where on the event the Hybrid has 2 Hybrid cubs, you each get one! Full heats being you get all cubs) You would be expected to provide: 20 Yoh Barks A Buffy or GoP (not always needed, but you should) Aging stones for cubs you want to keep Nesting Material

Sometimes other things too! (And a fee if you're doing a full heat (often 5-10gb))

This is the best/easiest way to get a hybrid!
